Charlie. When speaking to Tom Denver, the principal, over the intercom, Decker demanded to be addressed as Charlie and likewise insisted on addressing the principal as Tom or else he would start shooting students. To the students in the room, he crossed his fingers to show that he wasn't really serious.
Mrs Underwood. She was known by various nick-names including "Book Bags" for the two large bags of books she carried to school each day.
