Interesting Questions, Facts, and Information
Red vs. Blue
Blood Gulch. The series starts in Blood Gulch, moves to Battle Creek, Sidewinder, and Longest. Then everyone is transported to the future ('Halo 2') in Burial Mounds and Zanzibar. Except Church, he's sent to the past, where he roams Bungie's first game, 'Marathon'.
Sniper. Church is extremely cocky, and thinks that all of his teammates are idiots. He is the sniper of the series, and he can shoot quite well. In the Christmas Day PSA, we see him snipe some tiny Christmas ornaments.
BLAM
Church: Ha! Now your 'Ho! Ho! Ho!' is just a 'Ho! Ho!'
Although as seen in Episode 52, he really can't shoot all that well.
Lopez. Lopez was with the Red team, and then he got captured. Then for a few episodes, the creators decided to start having Church, who was now a ghost after Sheila the Tank shot him, move into other peoples bodies. He took over Lopez, but later switched into a body the Reds made for him so they could get Lopez back. These days, the only part left of Lopez is his head.
a Tank. Sheila the Tank was sent by Blue command, who also happens to be Red command, to help fight against the Reds and their newly acquired Warthog. Sheila took a liking to Caboose, but later fell in love with Lopez because they were both robotic.
Lightish Red. In a hilarious exchange between Simmons, Grif, and Donut, Donut finally agrees he now has pink armor instead of regulation red. Somehow, the more the series goes on, the more homosexual Donut seems to be.
Dufresne. Doc came as a result of a distress signal concerning Tex, who had just been stuck by a plasma grenade. When he got there, she was dead, but he stuck around, unwanted by either team, and became the host of O'Malley.
Tex, Caboose, Doc. Tex was given O'Malley as her AI when she awoke. After Donut stuck her with a plasma grenade and killed her, O'Malley transported to Caboose via the communicators installed in each person’s helmet. When Church and Tex got 'inside Cabooses head' (literally), O'Malley escaped to the most unlikely of characters, Field Doctor Dufraine. Dufraine is a 'pussy-fist', excuse me, 'pacifist', actually making Doc an interesting character. Now, O'Malley, who is a cold, bloodthirsty mad-AI, is inside peaceful Docs head. Some funny stuff comes from this pair.
Orange. Grif, the partner of Simmons, although not by choice, is orange. None, except Sarge, are actually red. Sarge is red, Donut is pink, Simmons is maroon, Grif is orange, and Lopez is regular metallic color.
Tank blast from Sheila. Church was spying on the reds, when Sheila fired at him on the cliff above, and killed him. He was a ghost from then on, until he inhabited Lopez, and later Robot #2. Now he's trapped in the past.
Vic. Vic is the guy at Blue/Red Command. He helps either team, and they don't find out till the middle of the whole series that each team has been talking to the same guy.
Track. After O'Malley had jumped into Docs body, he attacked both teams at once. O'Malley captured Lopez, and took him to the top of the Red base in a matter of seconds. All the characters saw him on the base, and were stunned at how fast he got there.
Grif: Man, that guy is wicked fast!
Doc: Thanks! I ran track in High School!
Sarge and Caboose. Sarge and Caboose were teleported to Battle Creek. There, they met two teams, one red, one blue, both regulation colors, at war with each other. It was all very strange. The two teams would race to their bases and upon hearing the trumpet call, charge out and slay each other till no man was alive. Sarge and Caboose were flabbergasted.
A Ghost. Dufraine was rejected by both groups because he was so different with his pacifistic ideals, plus he rammed Sarge with a Warthog by accident. He wandered off alone, and came upon a cave. Inside it, he found a purple vehicle. He called Vic, but Vic didn't know what it was. It was a Ghost; the Covenant equivalent of a motorcycle, except it hovers and shoots stuff.
Simmons. Grif was later nearly killed, and was given Simmons old body parts. Anyways, Simmons now has the ability to receive faxes out of his butt, and be an even bigger suck-up than he already was.
Sidewinder. They all ended up on Sidewinder once Simmons figured out how to teleport them all from...whatever level they were on. O'Malley, with the use of Lopez body, set off a bomb that propelled everyone in front of Lopez, into the future. Church, who was 'downwind' of the blast, ended up being shot centuries into the past. The bomb that blew up was simply so powerful, that it caused a riff in time. Thank you for your time.

Stand there and talk. Grif and Simons are on top of the red base having a conversation while Church spies on them with the sniper rifle, with Tucker at his side. Tucker gets defensive when Church gets mad at him for asking what’s happening, explaining that all they ever do is stand there and talk. This episode basically explains the simplicity and stupidity of the situation in Blood Gulch. The only reason each army has a base in the boxed canyon is because the other army also has a base.
Puma. Sarge liked to call the new vehicle, M12 LRV, the Warthog. Grif argued that it didn’t look much like a warthog, but a puma. Grif tried to explain that the puma was a big cat, but Sarge denied that it was a real animal. Sarge later heckled Grif by suggesting other animals, including Bigfoot, Unicorn, and other mythical animals.
Get two quarts of elbow grease and some headlight fluid from the store.. Grif seemed to have a bit of a problem with Donut so Simons sent him on a mission to get two quarts of elbow grease, and Grif added the headlight fluid for the puma. Grif and Simons had just assumed that Donut would wander the cliffs for a while and return, but instead, he went to the Blue Base where they had just received a tank. Donut started running to the base with glee, exclaiming “oh sweet, they sell tanks!”
The General. Tucker and Church got mad at Caboose and told him to stand at attention by the flag in case the General decided to drop by. Soon after, Donut arrived, and asked for directions. Church didn’t bother to turn around to see who it was and just assumed that it was Caboose. The two rookies met in the base. Caboose thought Donut was the General, and Donut thought Caboose was the store owner. When Caboose didn’t have any headlight fluid or elbow grease, Donut decided to take the flag, as he didn’t want to go back empty handed. Caboose let him go, as he thought Donut was a superior officer. Ultimately, the red team got the blue flag, which was one of the main goals in the war, because the blue guys were too ignorant.
They were covered in black stuff. When Church and Tucker found out that the Donut took the flag, Church tried to shoot him down with a sniper rifle, but missed. Church decided they should use the teleport to catch up with Donut. He ordered Tucker in first, who was reluctant, but went in anyway with a little persuasion. After Church saw that Tucker didn’t come out the other side, he decided to take the long way and run.
Sent him back in time. When Tucker got through the teleport, finally, he tried to explain that the rookie would one day become a sergeant. Church then explained that Donut was not a sergeant, but a rookie with standard issue red armor, which happened to be the same colour as Serge’s. All this conversation eventually bought enough time for Grif and Simons to come rescue Donut.
Caboose. Caboose saw Church and Tucker pinned down by the suppressive fire from Simmons. He debating staying at the base, but decided to just take the tank that no one knew how to drive. The tank actually came with a tutorial program that neither Tucker nor Church knew about, which would have allowed them to effectively use the tank.
Church. Caboose was riding the tank and set it to autofire. After Simmons and Grif hid behind the rock when the tank couldn’t see them, it started looking for new targets. It found and locked onto Church, and, even though Caboose implored the tank to unlock the target, it shot him. Before dying, Church explained that he hated Tucker the most.
They used a bombing run. The tank had Red base under siege. Donut, Simmons, and Grif were all taking cover without any plan. Sarge then came in on the radio, and the Grif explained to him the situation. Serge said he had a solution to their tank problem and flew in a bombing run. Caboose barely made it out of the tank alive.
Tex ripped his skull right out of his head and beat him to death with it.. Tucker put in a request for reinforcements from Blue Command and they decided to send a freelancer. Right after, the ghost of Church came back and warned Tucker of the freelance Tex. Church went into a flashback about his days on Sidewinder. Tex came and slaughtered everyone but Church. Jimmy was the last one to die. Tex ripped his skull right out of his head and beat him to death with it. Tucker interjected that it didn’t seem physically possible, and Church commented that that was what Jimmy was saying as he was being beaten.
In the filming, they gave Tex the Oddball (a skull), and meleed Jimmy to death.
Caboose. Tex was shooting all around Caboose, using a pistol and grenades. There were a lot of bullet holes around Caboose by the time “he” was done (this was before they knew Tex was a girl). After this, Tex ran off to get the flag back from Red Base.
Tex was a girl. After knocking out Donut and Simmons, Tex moved inside the base where “he” was captured. When “he” regained consciousness, Tex found out that her voice filter had been broken. Church explained to Blue Team that Tex was the reason he and his girlfriend never got married.
Plans. When Church proposed a plan to free Tex from Red Base, Tucker immediately stated that he hated plans, because a plan meant he had to do stuff. He explained that he would have preferred a strategy or a mission statement.
Episode 14 (Roomier Than it Looks)
When Church went to get a body so he could get Tex out of Red Base, whose body did he possess? | "Red vs Blue" Episodes 11-20
|
Sarge’s. Church, as a ghost, snuck up to Red Base unseen because Caboose and Tucker were providing a distraction. He possessed Sarge, and jumped into Red Base. He knocked out Simmons, who was guarding Tex, and gave a brief explanation as to why he was there. When they were outside, Church was counting to three to make the final dash to freedom, but Caboose shot him in the head before that could happen. Caboose saw Sarge (possessed by Church), guarding Tex, and decided to take him out so that Tex would be free, and Church would forgive him. This left Church, once again, as a ghost.
He gave mouth-to-mouth.. Simmons suggested that Grif give mouth-to-mouth after beating on Sarge’s lifeless body wasn’t working. All the while, Church and Serge were having a conversation in purgatory. Church claimed to be an angel, and explained that he could send Sarge to heaven if he paid ten dollars. Grif revived Sarge, and Serge expressed his gratitude to Simmons. Simmons told Serge that he should be thanking Grif, as it was Grif who did all the work. Serge expressed his displeasure at Grif’s stupidity for trying to revive someone using mouth-to-mouth for a bullet wound to the head.
Episode 16 (A Slightly Crueler Cruller)
In this episode Donut came back, after being injured in Episode 11, with new armor. What colour was Donut’s new armor? | "Red vs Blue" Episodes 11-20
|
Pink. Command was pleased with Donut for getting the enemy flag, so they gave him his own colour armor. He constantly claimed that it wasn’t pink, but rather a light-red. Donut also brought back a speech unit for Lopez, but Serge blew it with static, enabling Lopez to only speak Spanish.
