Not to mention that the scoring and updating is a very complicated procedure. Each challenge completed means: 1)Putting that under Contracts Completed. 2)Updating the leaderboard. 3)Increasing each challenge point by 1 point. 4)Adding the new challenge. Added to that we have players claiming challenges before they are up!:-) Reply #141. May 29 19, 9:49 AM |

If Wes isn't able to get to the board, I'll be able to update it this evening. Re: "Not to mention that the scoring and updating is a very complicated procedure." --I mean...it's not much crazier than anything else on the board, but real life gets in the way. Reply #142. May 29 19, 11:00 AM |

I've updated the list to what I think we're at at this point. Kudos RedHook for the crazy point intake on the one task. We're getting to the point (soon) where I think I've given you all enough of a headstart for me to jump in and get some of these done. Not yet, but soon. ;) Reply #144. May 29 19, 3:33 PM |

LOL Wes this is a funny idea. And kinda endearing that yes, of course, not one but lots of FT authors are up for such insanity. (Just don't get any "Ascension II" ideas). Reply #145. May 29 19, 4:32 PM |

I was inspired by Contract #46 (creating a CW based on the first verse of "God Save the Queen") to create my own CW based on the first verse of "My Country 'Tis of Thee", not for points, but for kicks and giggles. Feel free to laugh when you get it. :) Reply #146. May 29 19, 5:03 PM |

If I understand the requirements correctly, I'd like to claim this contract: Contract #38 - 13 points: Write a quiz or crossword to finish off an open Lounge Challenge or Commission. (by zorba_scank) for my quiz "It's a Long Way to Tickle Mary" http://www.funtrivia.com/trivia-quiz/Music/Its-a-Long-Way-to-Tickle-Mary-397761.html This was written to fulfill my participation in Commission 57, Long and Short. This quiz has been online today. I accidentally pulled it offline when I tried to make a small edit in the introduction to clarify the Quiz Contract and Commission. Reply #147. May 30 19, 5:32 AM |

Sorry, Bernie. I guess I wasn't clear enough. The quiz to go online should be the last remaining quiz of the particular challenge/commission. There are 31 quizzes due in commission 57. The person to get the last one online and finish off the commission would qualify to claim the contract. Of course there are other challenges open right now which don't need to wait that long. I would like to claim Contract #43 - 8 points: Write a quiz using a Tom Hanks movie as the title. The quiz may not go in Movies, Celebrities or Brain Teasers. (by Leith90) with this Sports quiz http://www.funtrivia.com/trivia-quiz/Sports/Catch-Me-If-You-Can-397816.html New contract: Write a quiz in the Movies Word Play subcategory, using one-word movie titles as the answers. I would like to claim Contract #29--Write an architecture quiz on either a single architectural style of the 20th century or on one particular architect's collective work. Either way the quiz must be suitable for the Humanities/Architecture subcategory not the People category. My quiz is "Art Deco in the United States" https://www.funtrivia.com/trivia-quiz/Humanities/Art-Deco-in-the-United-States-397820.html I propose as the next contract: Construct a 10 question quiz that is a sequel to my quiz for Contract 29, but focuses on 10 Art Deco buildings in your country or region of the world. (If you live in the US, like myself, you need to write about 10 other Art Deco buildings in the US.) Reply #151. May 30 19, 8:47 PM |

CmdrK, yes - that will be done upon scoring. Since the claim of #35 is not yet in the list, it shows the old value. Reply #157. Jun 02 19, 2:41 AM |

This has been a great challenge so far, but I'd like to propose one modification to the rules. If a contract gets to a ridiculously high vale (say 50 points), a player is allowed to call out the contract proposer who then can demonstrate the quiz or cw that meets the requirements for half of the current point value (rounded down). I believe an initial concern with this game was potential collusion to feed each personally tailored contracts, but I would find it hard to believe that all of us would collude for that long to pass up on a quiz that valuable. Also, so far I think all of us could have met any of the contracts if we had desired. I am assuming that for the rest of you it was like it was for me--there were some contracts that just drew my attention/interest more than others. Reply #158. Jun 02 19, 3:39 AM |

I would like to claim contract 48: Use the exact same title and write three quizzes, each in a different category. Quizzes already written can count for this task. (by Zorba_Scank) http://www.funtrivia.com/trivia-quiz/World/Say-Cheese-346790.html http://www.funtrivia.com/trivia-quiz/BrainTeasers/Say-Cheese-397824.html http://www.funtrivia.com/trivia-quiz/Hobbies/Say-Cheese-397827.html New contract: Write a 10 question multiple choice quiz on the Aussie band 'Sherbet'. There is only one quiz about them currently online, so this will allow them to have their own sub-category. Ensure to add a note to the editor regarding this. Reply #159. Jun 02 19, 4:28 AM |

Is it customary that in Music a group gets its own subcategory at the second quiz? In most categories subcategories are created at the third quiz. Reply #160. Jun 02 19, 1:59 PM |
