Booster Gold
Football. Booster was a star football player in college until he was caught betting on his own games. He then became a security guard at a museum and used many of the artifacts there to become a superhero.
Michael Jon Carter. Booster's real name is Michael Jon Carter, a departure from such alliterative alter egos as Clark Kent, Billy Batson and Wally West.
Goldstar. Michelle Carter was Booster's younger sister, who used a magnetic suit to fight crime. She died fighting crime, leaving Booster wrecked emotionally.
Kooey Kooey Kooey. Kooey Kooey Kooey was actually a living island, and Club JLI did not last long. It was at one point smashed by a tidal wave caused by intergalactic warriors. This was just one of the comedic superduo's get-rich-quick schemes.
Metropolis. Metropolis has a number of superheroes oprating in and around it, including Booster, Guardian and Superman. Guy Gardner, Ice and Fire also have defended the area.
He lost an arm. Blue Beetle later fashioned Booster a suit that acted as a life support system and gave him a cybernetic arm. Booster was later totally repaired by the villain Monarch.

Manthrax. The actor playing Manthrax later appears during a television interview and exposes Booster and the whole set-up. Booster is brought up on charges of fraud and is publicly ostracized by Elongated Man.
Supernova. Supernova is a superhero who popped up after "Infinite Crisis". Supernova saved a depowered Clark Kent from falling out of a window in much the same way that Superman would save Lois Lane. Supernova caught Booster's skeleton when Booster sacrificed himself to save Metropolis from an exploding nuclear submarine.
In the series "52", Supernova was revealed to be Booster Gold, who had not died and used Rip Hunter's chronal technology to be in two places at once. He went on to stop Mister Mind with the help of Skeets, Rip Hunter, and the Red Tornado.
The Royal Flush Gang. The Royal Flush Gang took their names from a common deck of cards. Outfitted with high-tech armor, the team fought the Justice League on a regular basis. They have also gone up against the Teen Titans.
