Gordie (Wheaton), Chris (River Phoenix), Vern (Jerry O'Connell) and Teddy Duchamp (Cory Feldman), find the missing boy at the end of the railroad tracks. However, Chris's brother, Eyeball Chambers and his friends come along and try to claim the body, so they could call the police and become heroes for finding the missing boy. However, Gordie stops them, and the friends place an anoymous phone call into police about the missing boy.
