Soul Gem. Adam Warlock had helped Surfer and Drax escape the Soul Gem. While there Surfer had learned his soul had been "tampered" with, meaning that Galactus had changed his soul when he became Silver Surfer.
Champion. Yes, Surfer versed Champion in issue 1, volume 3. Champion came to say that he wanted Surfer to stay out of the Skrull's way of cosmic domination.
Tyrant's power weakens every time Galactus eats a planet. Tyrant's power does (or did) weaken him whenever Galactus ate a planet because Tyrant's power comes from the bio-energies the planets have. So, the more Galactus eats the weaker Tyrant becomes. Well, not anymore since Tyrant is now dead (Morg killed him with the Ultimate Nullifier).
The Fantastic Four threatened him with the Ultimate Nullifier. Mr. Fantasic knew that the Nullifier was the only thing that could destroy Galactus and Galactus knew it too. If Galactus was destroyed it would ruin the balance of the universe. Galactus is in the circle of life. If he was not there, chaos and destruction would be the universe.
A Dr. Doom android. In the early 100s issues, Surfer didn't want to be a cosmic being anymore. Who the Surfer thought was Dr.Doom told him that he could take away his powers and turn the Surfer back to a man. However, the android's device didn't change the Surfer's silver exterior, it only took away his power of cosmic. The robot then tried to kill him and almost did. Legacy, the son of Captain Mar-Vell, healed Surfer and gave back his power of cosmic.
The Fantastic Four. It was actually Ben Grimm's idea to take Surfer out of earth's atmosphere. It worked, they had found the loophole!
Nova. It was a sad day when Nova died in Surfer's arms. She put up a heck of a fight with Surfer and the other heralds. It was in issue 75 she died. Morg had killed her with a powerful blast from his double-bladed axe.

Mission 111, the seventh messenger. What a coincidence! Mission 111 succeeded in issue 111. The poor messenger had to sacrifice himself to actually reached somebody to help. True, he did succeed and was with Silver Surfer throughout issue 111 but he could never turn back to his normal form.

KIll half the universe. The Infinty Gauntlet saga was very interesting. Eventually Adam Warlock took back the Infinty Gauntlet and defeated Thanos.

Zeaklar. The Silver Surfer was brought into Dynamo City for Thanos'last will and testament. He was then trapped there and Zeaklar helped get him outta there. They finally got out in issue 43.

Impossible Man. Silver Surfer had the-er--pleasure of meeting Impossible Man in issue 33 of volume 3. Silver Surfer saved his life from the armed forces of Ergonar.
