Characters of Discworld
Death. 'Death once had a spell as a human, named Bill Door, who tried his hand at farming for a Miss {Flitworth;} unsurprisingly, he was very good with a scythe.'
Mr. Tulip. Not much else going on in his head, mind you.
'Granny' Esmerelda Weatherwax. 'Mistress Weatherwax, one of the Ramtops most infamous and well respected witches. She is a very proud, hard faced woman and as it were, if witches had leaders, the leader of the ramtop witches.'
Brutha. He wants peace and justice and brotherly love. He wants the Inquisition to stop torturing him now, please. 'But most of all, what he really wants, more than anything else, is for his god to Choose Someone Else ... '
Susan Sto Helit. 'Other children got given xylophones. Susan just had to ask her grandfather to take his vest off. Yes. There's a Death in the family. It's hard to grown up normally when Grandfather rides a white horse and wields a scythe - especially when you have to take over the family business, and everyone mistakes you for the Tooth Fairy. '
Mustrum Ridcully. 'Hunter, fisherman, mean snooker player (has a snooker table instead of a desk). Keeps dragons. Believes in healthy living and that enough force can solve any problem. Doesn't like the rest of the faculty. '
Lord Vetinari. 'Looks like a black, blue-eyed predatory flamingo.'
Carrot. 'At the age of sixteen, his parents decided it was time for him to return to his own kind. Carrot was quite shocked to discover that he was human. You would have though that being 6 feet 6 would have been a dead giveaway!'
Cut-Me-Own-Throat. 'And that's cutting me own throat'. 'Ankh-Morpork's most enterprising salesman - merchant adventurer - itinerant pedlar. Usually selling sausages(uhm...)-inna-buns, but will take up any promising venture. Easily giving in to new ideas.'
Cut me own throat . Dibbler of course!
William De Worde. William De Worde is the editor and the star of "The Truth". He is also mentioned beforehand in "The Discworld Companion".
Binky. His name is Binky. Binky is a beautiful white horse when drawn in "The Last Hero"!
Maskerade. He appears in "Maskerade" as the odd job man and is hiding a secret...
Lacrimosa. Vlad's sister is called Lacrimosa and is the more bloodthirsty of the two of them.
Twyla. Twyla is the answer; she tells Susan that there is a monster roaming around. Susan takes the little girl to see this mnonster and is followed by a huge crowd. After the audience has gone, Susan drags the monster out of the cellar.
While attempting to train an apprentice, Death found some extra time on his hands to pursue some other activities, like fishing, partying, gambling, and visiting the Ankh-Morpork job broker, which offered him a new job. Where was this new job located? | Death of Discworld

Harga's House of Ribs. Were the wizards of Unseen University, especially Albert, surprised to see Death in an apron with a cat in his arms after casting the Rite of AshkEnte! Incidentally, he gave his fishing fly a name: Death's Glory.
I know I haven't included a lot of other interesting facts about Death, but perhaps a second quiz in future...
When Death is forced into retirement, he becomes a harvester and takes a room in Miss Flitworth's barn. What is Miss Flitworth's first name? | Death of Discworld

Renata. Death has quite an interesting, if a bit morose, time working in the fields, cutting blades of wheat one at a time.
In spite of having collected the lives of many humans, whose life does Death claim to not have in his collection? | Death of Discworld

Elvis . I cheated with this, but I just couldn't resist. This bit of trivia is from "Good Omens", a collaboration between Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. In this scene, Death is playing a game of trivia with the other three Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the original Hell's Angels.
Jason Ogg. Jason Ogg is the eldest son of Nanny Ogg and a Lancre blacksmith. Like his father was obligated, Jason's job requires that he shoe anything. Jason uses a specially reserved metal for Binky.
Susan. Pratchett pokes fun of genetics with his character Susan Sto Helit because she inherits characteristics from Death and a scar from her father that, in our world, cannot be passed on genetically. Susan is the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Sto Helit; formerly Mortimer, Death's sometime apprentice, and Ysabell, Death's adopted daughter. Susan has a way with children, so she's been a governess and is now a schoolteacher.
wizard. Alberto Malich was a wizard and the founder of Unseen University. His quest for immortality succeeded somewhat when he performed the Rite of AshkEnte, the spell to summon Death, backwards and found himself in Death's Domain, where Time is at a standstill. While Albert has his idiosyncrasies, including the need to have all foods deep-fried (including porridge!) to rid the germs, he has been an indispensible sidekick, often helping Death out of scrapes when he becomes too interested in humanity; Albert is pretty much a Jeeves. And what with helping Death and needing to buy groceries in the Discworld, as well as frequenting the soap and bath, Albert's original remaining 91 days, 3 hours, and 5 minutes have been reduced to barely 5 seconds.
