Anne Frank
Jewish. The Franks were also Jews in the religious sense, but were not adherents of Orthodox Judaism.

Margot. Anne just had one sister.
clothes and her diary. She said she put on as many layers of clothes as she could. And she also brought her diary and photos.
Monopoly. They couldn't move at all during the day, so as not to make any noise. But once the office staff would leave at night, the eight would play Monopoly, listen to the radio, and read lots of books.
Ballet. Anne would practice her ballet steps at night when it was dark and the building was empty.
1947. Unfortunately, only Mr. Frank survived the Holocaust. All the other seven perished in concentration camps.
June 12, 1929. Anne was born in June 12, 1929 approximately 3 years 4 months after Margot. She was a German Jewish girl. Otto and Edith married on June 12, 1925. Only 9 months after they had their first child, Margot, on February 16, 1926. Anne was born in Frankfurt and migrated with her parents to apparent safety in the Netherlands in 1934, but in 1940 the Germans invaded the country.
Fritz Pfeffer. Fritz Pfeffer and Anne had numerous arguments about her writing desk. Fritz Pfeffer was a dentist. He was 53 when he went into hiding with the Franks and Van Dans. During World War 1 he had served in the German Army. Fritz Pfeffer had a son Werner and a wife Charlotte Kaletta. They had sent Werner to Britain.
August 4, 1944. The 'Green Police' seized Anne Frank and family after an anonymous tip-off by telephone arrived at headquarters of the Sicherheitsdienst (SD or Security Police).
Unknown. Nobody knows who betrayed them but there has been a lot of speculation about this. For example, it has been suggested that it may have been a business associate of Anne's father. Anne's father was the only family member who survived World War 2.
March 1945. Anne died in March 1945 and her sister died earlier that month, too. Irma Menkel, a Holocaust survivor, saw Anne Frank die. Before she died she told her that she was the 'barracks leader' and she didn't have to go to the rollcall. Anne never knew how sick she was. When she slipped into a coma Irma held her tight and comforted her.
Typhus. Anne died of typhus, which was rampant at Belsen.
Anneliese Marie Frank. Anne's real name was Anneliese Marie Frank but everyone just called her Anne. In the book and the movie the name Anneliese Marie Frank is never used.
'Hello'. 'Hello' was her first boyfriend, but his grandparents didn't want him to be seeing Anne because they thought she was too young for him. They thought Ursula would be better for him. She never knew that it would be the last time they would ever talk.
Approximately 10 a.m. August 4, 1944. At 10 a.m. two soldiers came through the book cases. They were much less hostile when they found out Anne's father had fought for Germany in World War 1. When Anne was arrested she knew that she wouldn't survive.
Bergen-Belsen. Anne died in Bergen-Belsen, having first been sent to Auschwitz.
