Chauncey Billups
Larry Brown. Larry Brown coached the Pistons for only 2 years, but guided them to the finals both years before being replaced by Flip Saunders.
Assist to turnover ratio. He had 699 assists and only 170 turnovers to lead the league.
1. Chauncey had worn the number 4 for much of his career but had to choose a different number when went to Detroit, as number 4 was retired by Joe Dumars.
Colorado. Billups attended the University of Colorado, where he averaged 18.5 points per game over his two seasons. In the 1996-97 season, he was named to the Big 12 Conference First Team, and the Basketball Times All-American First Team.
2006. Billups' first All-Star appearance was in 2006, which is notable because he is one of the few players to have been a finals MVP and not an All-Star.
Boston Celtics. Drafted third overall in the 1997 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics, Billups was traded to the Toronto Raptors midway through his first season.
2004. Billups won the 2004 Finals MVP playing for the Pistons. The Pistons beat the Los Angeles Lakers 4 games to 1 to claim the championship.
