Martin Crowe
Crowe took the first two Australian wickets to fall. Hardly an auspicious start to his career. Only on the fifth and final day was a full day's play was possible. Crowe bowled four overs without taking a wicket.

He shared in a (then) world record partnership. With Andrew Jones, who made 186, he shared in a partnership of 467 for the third wicket, which at the time, was a world Test partnership record for all wickets. New Zealand didn't win. The Test was drawn. Crowe hit three 6's and 29 fours in his innings. Sir Don Bradman also scored 299 in a Test innings.
