MCI Center. The MCI Center opened in 1997.
Maple Leafs . The Air Canada Center replaced the Maple Leaf Gardens in 1999.
Philips Arena. Construction of the Philips Arena lasted from 1997-1998.
Chicago Blackhawks. Other arenas that the Blackhawks have played in are the Chicago Coliseum (1926-29), and the Chicago Stadium (1929-94).
Calgary Flames. The Pengrowth Saddledome also hosted the Calgary Hitmen hockey club (WHL), the Calgary Roughnecks lacrosse club (NLL), and many concerts and events.
Pepsi Center. The Pepsi Center replaced the McNichols Sports Arena in 1999.
Dallas Stars . The American Airlines Center was built in 2001 and replaced the Reunion Arena as the Stars' home arena.
Skyreach Center. The Skyreach Center had also been named the Northlands Coliseum.
Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks moved from the Pacific Coliseum to General Motors Place in 1995.
America West Arena. The franchise moved from Winnipeg, Canada to Phoenix in 1996.
Buffalo Sabres. The Sabres played in the Memorial Auditorium from 1970-1996. The HSBC Arena had also been named the Marine Midland Arena.
FleetCenter. The Bruins have played in the Boston Arena, Boston Garden, and then moved to the FleetCenter.
Florida Panthers. The Office Depot Center has also been named the National Car Rental Center.
Joe Louis. The Joe Louis Arena was built in 1979.
San Jose Sharks. The San Jose Sharks moved from the Cow Palace to the San Jose Arena in 1993. The San Jose Arena soon changed its name to the Compaq Center and then became the HP Pavillion.
Gaylord Entertainment Center. The Gaylord Entertainment Center had also been named the Nashville Arena.
New York Islanders. The Islanders had always played in this arena. Their first NHL season was 1972.
Le Centre Bell. Le Centre Bell had also been named Le Centre Molson. It changed names between the 2001-2002 and the 2002-2003 seasons.
New Jersey Devils. The Devils franchise had also played as the Kansas City Scouts and the Colorado Rockies.
Nationwide Arena. Construction on the Nationwide arena went on from 1998-2000.
Ottawa Senators . The Senators played in the Ottawa Auditorium from 1923-31, the Civic Center Arena from 1992-95, and then the Corel Center (formerly known as the Palladium).
Staples Center. The Kings had also played in The Great Western Forum (1967-99) and the LA Sports Arena (1967).
Minnesota Wild. The Xcel Energy Center was under construction from 1998-2000. The Minnesota North Stars played in the Metropolitan Sports Center before the franchise moved to Dallas.
RBC Center. Since 1997, the year that the franchise moved to Carolina from Hartford, the Hurricanes had played in the Greensboro Coliseum, and the Raleigh Arena, which was later renamed to the RBC Center.
