Buffy Unaired Pilot
Cross Roads. He was also played by a different actor.
Dingos Ate My Baby. That was way before Oz showed up on the scene too! Oz first appeared on the series in the episode "Inca Mummy Girl".
How many names OTHER than Buffy did Flutie call her during the course of the episode? | "BTVS" Unaired Pilot
|
4. He called her Bunny, Betty, Bambi, and Wilma.
Merryman High School. I have no idea why it had this name. Maybe Joss had not decided to call the town Sunnydale yet?
out on the school lawn. He literally bumps into her on the lawn. She leaves behind a stake like she did in 'WTTH' when they bumped into each other in the hallway.
Yes. The first Willow was played by actress Riff Regan. She starred on an episode of "Roseanne" in season five and played young Georgie on "Sisters".
The last line in "The Pilot" is "The Earth is doomed", spoken by Giles. In "The Unaired Pilot" Buffy says the last line, what is it? | "Pilot" Vs. "The Unaired Pilot"
|
"Trust me". She says the other two lines just before, but the last line is "Trust me." Then she throws her stake through the heart of a "Nosferatu" poster.
She tells them. In the Auditorium a vampire ask who she is, and she says she's the Slayer. This makes one of the vampires flee in horror. Giles wasn't happy that she revealed her identity.
He carries it but never rides it. We see him carry it around in a few scenes, but he never rides it.
Willow. She is bitten by the vampire Xander saw her with, but she's saved by Buffy.
She asks Principal Flutie if she can see the body. She asks the Principal if she can see the body, and in the next scene she's in the locker room. It seems like he let her in. The jump through the open window was how she originally was supposed to get in the locker room in "The Pilot", according to the DVD commentary, but they couldn't do the stunt, so she broke in instead.
In the library, when Giles hands Buffy the books he mentions various monsters. In the Pilot they are Zombies, Werewolves, Incubi and Succubi, in the Unaired Pilot there's one more. What is it? | "Pilot" Vs. "The Unaired Pilot"
|
Ghouls. "Werewolves, Zombies, Ghouls, Incubi, Succubi".
In "The Pilot" Willow throws holy water on Darla, and she runs out in pain, but she doesn't die. In "The Unaired Pilot" she does die, but what kills her? | "Pilot" Vs. "The Unaired Pilot"
|
A cross. Willow puts a cross to her forehead.
A character that wasn't in "The Pilot", and in fact didn't show up until season 2, had a very small role (one line) in "The Unaired Pilot". Who was it? | "Pilot" Vs. "The Unaired Pilot"
|
Jonathan. Jonathan was in line in front of Buffy at the Bronze and asked if she was the new girl. Oz's band, Dingoes ate my baby, were playing at the Bronze, but we never actually see them.
Their upperclass white boy stigma. Seems like the guys from my school!
Buffy's shoes. "Hi I'm Cordelia, we just thought that we would be a little welcoming committee, help you get adjusted explain you who to hang with and why, quite frankly when I saw those shows I knew there was a beautiful bond of sisterhood, really I was quite moved."
Alyson Hannigan. The character Willow, was played by another actress.
Mated Laura Ashley with the Home Depot guy. Buffy tries to make Willow feel better about her Laura Ashley dress, saying that "Laura Ashley is back, and with a vengeance."
All of the above ("Aren't you just going 'oooo'", "I can only think that you are making a really little fence", "Glad to see that you have seen the softer side of sears"). There is a lot of dialogue that carries over from the episode to the aired pilot.
Kills a demon. I like the scene where she throws the stake at the vampire poster, very clever.
4. He calls her Betty, Bunny, Bambi, and Wilma.
Brown. Sarah Michelle Gellar's original hair color is brown.
30 minutes. The "Unaired Pilot" was, without credits, about 25 minutes.
His thought. Looks like that vampire isn't going to be able to finish his point after all.
A cross. I love this scene.
He is too old. His outfit is indeed ugly, all his friends have either left, or have been killed, and Buffy is getting impatient, say bye bye to the vampire.
They "melt" into powder. You have to love the really, really cheesy special effects, the slowly "disappearing" pile of powder, ha ha!
She is never asked. Aw! Poor Willow, I think she needs to make some wiser date choices.
A broom. Janitor Buffy, to the rescue!
Movies. Now repeat after me, movies are our friends!
3. There is a vampire behind Buffy, above Buffy on some of the set equipment, and later Willow and Xander run into Darla.
