the Klingons. Since, in the alternate universe, the ENTERPRISE-C failed to defend the Klingon outpost at Narendra III, the Klingons eventually waged war against the Federation.
In the alternate universe, the familiar bridge crew of the ENTERPRISE-D is notably missing some personnel. Who is NOT absent from the bridge crew in the alternate universe? | 'Star Trek: TNG -- Yesterday's Enterprise'

Wesley is not only a part of the bridge crew, he is a full ensign -- a sign, perhaps, that the Federation needs all the help it can get.
Dr. Selar. Dr. Selar, a Vulcan physician, appeared in the second season episode 'The Schizoid Man.' She was never seen in 'ST:TNG': again, but she is a regular character in Peter David's 'Star Trek: New Frontier' novels.
22 years. It's stated several times throughout the episode.
4. It's made quite clear that the ENTERPRISE-C is hopelessly outnumbered, especially given the damage they have already sustained.
