For a start (I am working on this): Nauru becomes aruan. But that is a fish.

I can't find one that reverses to a bird in English. Some might from a native language or to another language. Too tired...

I think there are none. No independent country, at least.

Iran:

Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea). This bird is a common breeding resident. Locally called Kabud, Anjan or Nari, it is found in the wetlands of Haryana.

Ye gods and little fishes! (and frogs, as it's a heron...) I looked for Nari but obviously not well enough. Serious congratulations on that, Zb.

First thanks of all who tried to help me, and i think zbeckabee is correct, but there was a little mistake in my question, this question was asked by my cousin on sms, but unfortunately this question was not related to english, it was related to my native language Urdu. I found the answer and that was Rome (Capital city of Italy - But if we see in past it was called as a country), In urdu if we reverse the name of Rome (روم) it becomes ( م و ر) and written as (مور) that is called peacock in english.
