Daisy - The "purebred mongrel" family pet on the sitcom BLONDIE/NBC/1957/CBS/1968-69.
Daisy lives with Dagwood Bumstead, a bumbling accident-prone architect; his level-headed wife Blondie; and their two children Alexander "Baby Dumpling" and Cookie. Daisy was usually seen lying around the house or following one of the Bumsteads from room to room. Daisy hated to get bath.

Daisy first appeared in the Blondie comic strip created by Murat "Chic" Young in the 1930s.
Daisy also appeared in a series of Harvey Publications Comic books.

She is just described as a mutt.

In the '40s movie franchise: Cocker Spaniel/Poodle/Terrier mixed breed.

'Daisy's real name was Spooks, a Cocker Spaniel/Poodle/Terrier mixed breed rescued from an animal shelter by animal trainer Rennie Renfro and trained by Rudd Weatherwax. Originally called Spooks because of her apparent fear of everything, Daisy went on to play the Bumstead's dog Daisy in the Blondie film series originating from Chic Young's Blondie comic strip, and several other movies as well.'
