Ken Myers, a Texan teacher, stated that more than half the world's population lives in a relatively small circle covering twenty-one countries in south-eastern Asia. This is, perhaps, not so surprising since it includes India, Indonesia and most of China, which are some of the most populous countries in the world. The name of the circle comes from Myers' username on Reddit - the website where he made his assertion in 2015.
