Which director of mostly non-English language films has had the greatest number of their films remade into English speaking films? (Not dubbed, but complete remakes. E.g. 'Infernal Affairs' -> 'The Departed')

The name that springs to mind is Akira Kurosawa. This link includes a number of remakes of his film, but not all of them were originally in English, even if they were later translated into English. And not all officially acknowledged their source in Kurosawa's work, so a definitive number is slippery at best. Especially since I have seen some other films (such as the 2022 UK film 'Living') listed in addition to the ones at the link.
