Is there a special name for the flashing lights (that go along with the sirens) on police and other emergency vehicles?

According to Tomar Electronics who have manufactured them for 30 years, they are called Strobe and Warning Light Systems, or Lightbars.

On my ambulance the main assembly is known as the lightbar. We've got one at the front, one at the back, and there are flashing lights at the front back and sides. As each has to be on a separate circuit, there's a whole bank of switches above the dashboard.

In some places they have the nickname 'Blues and twos' ie Blue lights and
two-tone sirens.
