Rhea Perlman (Carla) was in both. Taxi today in the UK (on Paramount Comedy Channel) featured her as a girl who dates Louie. Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman married on the Taxi set, during a tea break apparently!

Ted Danson also guest starred on "Taxi" and then played Sam on "Cheers"
