Subject: Romantic Advice

I am 14 and am a freshman in high school. I am currently friends with a 15 year old sophomore, who I would like to ask out. What can I do to ask her out without making things awkward? Any advice given would be greatly appreciated.

Be yourself, don't use a script or plan, just be natural and be prepared for all consequences and enjoy the experience. Whatever happens it will be good practice and you will have many more chances ahead. I'm 65 so I can remember it!

Thanks for your help, any ideas on where we could go?

I agree with the user satguru on what they said.
I think you should take her to a place that she likes and get her a card and flowers.
I hope this helps.
Sincerely,

Agreed, start with where she likes or make suggestions where you like as well. Ultimately it's far more about who you're with than where you go. Once you get to know each other you'll soon find out where you both like going wherever it is.

You could ask her if she'd like to go with you to a school event, like a sports game. If you are both invited to a party, maybe she'd like to go with you. How about a picnic, a museum, a zoo? Is there a place nearby to go hiking?

With your parent's permission, could you invite her to your house on a Saturday afternoon to watch a movie on TV? Be sure it's a genre that she likes. Make some popcorn to share.
