Like the first one on your list, hekawi. As someone who's studied dinosaurs for the past 25 years, I'd love to know what really caused their extinction. Reply #21. Jun 07 17, 6:22 AM |

A film of a Shakespeare play being performed in the original Globe would be interesting to watch. Reply #22. Sep 05 17, 12:52 AM |

This is an interesting concept. I think I'll contribute to it. Three things I wish had been caught on film would be: 1) The eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. 2) The conquest of Tenochtitlan by Cortez 3) The performance of "Our American Cousin" in Ford's Theater April 14, 1865. 1. Images of all those monasteries in England before Henry VIII had them destroyed 2. When man first began to build huts in which to live - before and after 3. The growth of the City of New York from its very beginning Reply #24. Sep 12 17, 8:05 PM |

Too tired to think of three at the moment, but the first thing to come to mind is that I'd like to know who the first person to summit Everest was. I've always doubted it was Hillary, Mallory, or any other non-Asian. Reply #25. Sep 16 17, 12:13 AM |

I picked them because there is a great deal we don't know about those events. In this fantasy world where film of those times actually existed, we could add (I think) a great deal to the historical record. Of course it doesn't, but I enjoy speculative pure hypotheticals. I concede the events of all three were quite grim. Major historical events generally are. Reply #28. Sep 17 17, 8:41 PM |
