Maybe, though not necessarily! I found it easier to use a lot of the small crosswords, since some of those can be done in just a couple of minutes. I see you've already won the Epic flag for crosswords, and at double-flag level. I've not received that Epic yet, but one hint nonetheless -- save some of the easier medium- and large-size crosswords for when triple purple turns up sometime. It's surprising how doing little and often builds up. Have 111 in "difficult mode", so it might not be that long until I get "Crossworder". I am trying to do them all in difficult mode so they'll count towards "Crossword Crusher". Good tip about the small ones. I am currently working through my teammates' creations. I can't even remember what I did for the Epic Crossword challenge, it was a while ago! And I didn't even realise at the time that there were different levels. Sounds like you're doing a fine job. At 111 in Hard Mode, you're well on your way. Every now and then I get fed up with one and pull the trigger on Easy Mode ... usually if I've started to take 10+ minutes on it and there's one last clue (or few letters) that I can't get. Some crosswords use some really obscure/uncommon spellings for the answers. All three "levels" of Epic Crossword are the same basic thing: Complete (X) number of crosswords, and use at least (X) number of different categories. Small crosswords don't count, and no Easy Mode. Thanks, you have encouraged me to apply myself to it a bit more, when I'm sitting down with a cup of tea I think of doing a quick little crossword. I can answer "What badges have you ALMOST won recently?" ... I tried for the 0/15 in Impossible but goofed and answered the last question correctly. I also ended with exactly 131 seconds, so I was also one second over (it says "*under* 131 seconds," not "within"). I think I'd be hard-pressed to pull off the similar one, "Zero" (0/15 in Obscurity). Same number of questions as in Impossible, and only a minute to do it. Doesn't sound very easy! Reply #485. I'm almost positive that makes you the first, and so far only, person to ever accomplish that. That's tremendous. Recently I have managed gotten the Brain Twisted, today I got All tied up on a FT Duel game and the 6789 in the past couple of days. Hopefully will have Defrosted very soon...then that'll be it for the "low-hanging fruit" for me - except for the 12345 score and the triathlete which seems to be getting harder than it was in the beginning (I should have tried very hard for it when I was newer and at a lower level.
