I did a similar thing with Chapter 2, and I got a message like Evi is upset and I can retry that tomorrow. So, I was extra careful with Chapter 4. I re-read multiple times, and I got the traps set by Evi this time. So, I then gave a try on what I had understood, and I just got confirmation that I have completed chapter 4! There was a bug in Task 3 where it wasn't correctly identifying completion of one of the criteria in some cases. This has been fixed. Go back to the halloween page and reload if you think you deserve it... Reply #89. Oct 27 23, 9:33 AM |

I managed to go back and grab Chapter 4 before the time reset... but only because I wasn't actually competing in the first place. I just reset myself instead of waiting and was able to go for it with no mistakes on second try. Also, I do appreciate that friendly ties were built into a previous Chapter. I think I was one of those affected by chapter 3 bug, can't really tell, but I refreshed the page after reading Terry's message and I got it complete. #4 is also out of the way. A general note: All Halloween tasks EVERY YEAR are designed to be solvable by all players without going completely out of your way. If you feel obliged to sacrifice progress on some other goal for more than a few hours, YOU ARE ON THE WRONG TRACK. This year's game does contain a task where making such a sacrifice can help you complete it more quickly. But it is by no means required or recommended to do so unless you don't care about that particular progress anyway. I would also like to draw everyone's attention to the word "pretend". You need to solve it as if you were. You don't need to be. Oh, and I'll say this with regard to #5: Those who have done everything (or think they have) might be tired. Tiered. Something like that.
