FunTrivia Players,
it's been several years since the Temporal Rift badge was as easily playable as it was intended to be. The way quizzes are listed today makes it near impossible to reliably determine their first online date.
The only really working way to earn this badge has now been the advent calendar - you can play the last seven years' worth of the quizzes of that date and get it. For this reason, this badge will now be on LAST CHANCE until December 24. If you wish to earn it, use the calendar to grab it now.
The badge will be moved to retired status after Christmas - one more option for you to get one of those credits towards 20/20 if you haven't already earned it back when it was actually easy.

It's really satisfying when you can use parts of the site in unintended ways to solve challenges (the "Popular Quizzes This Hour" tab gave me the breakthrough I needed on the Halloween game this year). Not as satisfying when it becomes the *only* practicable way to solve them :p. thanks Wesley - this got me really excited as I have been trying for this for a while and it's a great idea to look at the Advent quizzes. However I have now found that the quizzes for 2020, 2019 and 2018 have all subsequently been updated.but I have found today for all the rest. Team leaders and those who help out, please spread the word. There's just 12 days left before this becomes unavailable and it's quite straightforward to complete using the advent calendar. Make sure everyone who wants it gets a chance to make it! Also, a warning to those who might be close to making tier 7 on "You Graduated": This retirement will remove your completion of this badge (if you do own it) from the Ruby Dungeon, so if you're just 1 or 2 away from completing that tier, you may wish to give it an extra push now! It looks like a fairly significant number of the Advent Calendar quizzes have been updated since they were originally posted, so I don't think the strategy of taking those quizzes to get the Temporal Rift badge will always work. Maybe on certain days, but not every day. Maybe we can work together to find quizzes outside the Advent Calendar that were "last updated" on the correct days and post those on a thread somewhere? boombaby... The lists for each year's calendars, while not numbered, are in numerical order. So, for today (the 12th), all you need to do is count to the 12 calendar on each list. Just count to the proper number for whichever day you choose to do the challenge. Reply #15. Dec 12 25, 8:59 PM |
