Subject: Question for the Editors

Is it just me?

A day or two ago google asked me to reenter my password. When i did it had the unexpected knockon of a whole slew of sites demanding i re-enter my password including funtrivia.
It didnt recognize my password (maybe my fault -- not sure) so i went to the reset.
that worked fine; they told me they would send a reset...but it never arrived. i went back and gave a different email -- that never arrived.
I opened a new account -- but that didnt help -- before you post an email you need to send a validation and THAT didn't arrive. I went to the FAQ and found another route with my third and last email address; THAT didnt arrive.
Finally a friend whose email i had went to the editors and the problem was solved. So the question is: was it just me? or are the password re-sets not working?

This is the first I've heard of this being an issue. The password prompt itself would probably come from your browser, but in terms of not getting a reset email, you might check if your email on your profile matches your actual email. If it does, perhaps it went to spam?
