I recently reached the rank of Grand Visionary and it got me thinking about how I have progressed since I joined FunTrivia. I was then inspired to write a poem about it, so I thought I would post it here to share with you. :)
Ode to FunTrivia: From Candidate to Visionary
As I was idly surfing
The internet one day,
I came across FunTrivia
And a quiz I chose to play.
It was followed by another.
They were everywhere I looked.
After half a dozen,
I was swiftly hooked.
Yes, one quiz became a dozen,
Then a hundred more.
I'd log in to play a few
And stay an hour... or four!
I found more were available
To Gold members for a fee.
So I decided to subscribe
Instead of playing for free.
I started as a Candidate,
Quickly followed by Recruit,
And set off on my journey
With prestige in hot pursuit.
Novice, Student, Prodigy,
Through these ranks I rose.
I aspired to be a Maven,
So that's the path I chose.
Eventually, I reached it
And decided to climb higher.
Achieving Virtuoso
Was then my heart's desire.
I next became a Guru,
And was pleased enough with that.
But now I'm a Grand Visionary.
Yes, imagine where I'm at!
Now, upon my profile
Is a wee owl that's in flight.
I have to wear my earplugs
As it hoots aloud at night!
If I become a Mystic,
My morale shall get a boost,
For my flying owl shall swiftly land
When it comes down to roost.
Should I one day reach Sentinel,
The highest rank of all,
You'll still find me at FunTrivia,
Answering the call.
For ranks are fine, and badges too,
And owls on display,
But quizzes are the reason
That I log in each day.
So, come and join FunTrivia.
If you do, I guarantee
That you'll become addicted
Just the same as me!
