No, I'm wrong. Wrong word choice: Villanous: "a cruelly malicious person who is involved in or devoted to wickedness." Snape was not that, true, as it turned out. He's something else though, for which he deserves to be in our Dark Loves category.

Godwit, you might be making fun of me, fortunately, being a foreigner, I can´t tell the subtle nuances of a foreign language, anyway, this is a most interesting topic for me, I mean, why people like villains. Well, not villains, but characters, who aren´t black or white like Snape. Harry Potter, who I wish to slap sometimes for his Messianic syndrom or Voldemort, who is completely boring and unable to finish with an underaged with with a simple wave of a wand are only fiction. Such people don´t exist,
The most popular characters do good and bad things at the same time - as we do!

Kent Family Chronicles Author John Jakes

Phillipe Charboneau....even his name says dreamy. :)

Which reminds me I haven't read that series in years but I do have them on some shelf around here.

Dexter Morgan from Jeff Lindsay's Dexter books. I would love to...well, there are children on this site so I won't say. :)
