Subject: Celebrity Deaths ...

Have you ever cried over the death of someone famous? I know I have, silly as it may sound. I'll never forget the day Kurt Cobain died. I heard it on the tv, and just froze and I felt stunned at first. I was shocked and then I cried like a big baby! I am a huge fan of Kurt's, and his music means alot to me, so naturally I was saddened by his death. Also, when George Harrison died, I was pretty torn up. I didn't even know he had been ill, and I loved him so! What celebrity deaths have you cried over? You can list more than one if you would like!

I cried when Mario Lanza died I love his music and always thought he looked like a proper gentleman. You know the kind you only ever see in old films.

I cried when Phil Hartman was murdered. Such a violent, horrible end for such a funny, nice guy. :(

Princess Diana, that was so tragic. I felt so bad for her sons.

Yes, Princess Diana was another one that saddened me. Such a kind and generous woman, and so beautiful, too.

I cried when I heard about John Lennon. Also Billy T James who was a well known New Zealand entertainer.

I didn't quite cry, but the day Elvis died was the biggest loss for me, and only 42. And now I'm 5 years older than he was, imagine doing all that he did in such a small time. Love him or hate him, was anyone a bigger star ever?

I don't think I've ever cried over a celebrity death, but I can remember being really shocked when Richard Beckinsdale died. He was only in his early thirties. I still can't believe it when I see repeats of "Porridge".

I realise this means absolutely nothing to anyone outside of the UK.

Chris Farley from a drug overdose, he could've become the funniest person you know...ever! Also it was a big loss for me when Phil Hartmen was murdered, i'm a huge SNL fan so both of those were tragic for me. Chris wasn't even 40 when he died.

I was really saddened when Jerry Garcia went. And John Lennon, even though I was only a kid. I was just angered when Kurt Cobain did himself in, what a waste....

Diana, Princess of Wales. She was young and I'm a similar age to Prince William and the idea of having to mourn my mother in that sort of media glare was awful.

John Ritter's sudden passing brought a tear to my eye. He gave me much laughter through the years.
