I cried when Mario Lanza died I love his music and always thought he looked like a proper gentleman. You know the kind you only ever see in old films. Reply #1. Aug 06 07, 1:48 PM |

I cried when Phil Hartman was murdered. Such a violent, horrible end for such a funny, nice guy. :( Reply #2. Aug 06 07, 1:56 PM |

Yes, Princess Diana was another one that saddened me. Such a kind and generous woman, and so beautiful, too. Reply #4. Aug 06 07, 2:32 PM |

I didn't quite cry, but the day Elvis died was the biggest loss for me, and only 42. And now I'm 5 years older than he was, imagine doing all that he did in such a small time. Love him or hate him, was anyone a bigger star ever? Reply #7. Aug 10 07, 10:00 AM |

I don't think I've ever cried over a celebrity death, but I can remember being really shocked when Richard Beckinsdale died. He was only in his early thirties. I still can't believe it when I see repeats of "Porridge". I realise this means absolutely nothing to anyone outside of the UK. Reply #8. Aug 10 07, 10:07 AM |

Chris Farley from a drug overdose, he could've become the funniest person you know...ever! Also it was a big loss for me when Phil Hartmen was murdered, i'm a huge SNL fan so both of those were tragic for me. Chris wasn't even 40 when he died. Reply #10. Aug 10 07, 3:01 PM |

I was really saddened when Jerry Garcia went. And John Lennon, even though I was only a kid. I was just angered when Kurt Cobain did himself in, what a waste.... Reply #13. Aug 13 07, 4:58 PM |

Diana, Princess of Wales. She was young and I'm a similar age to Prince William and the idea of having to mourn my mother in that sort of media glare was awful. Reply #18. Aug 16 07, 4:27 PM |
