Subject: Anthony Weiner Eyes Political Comeback

Posted by: daver852
Date: Apr 11 13

Anthony Weiner, the disgraced Democratic Congressman from New York who was forced to resign after sending pictures of his, uh, assets to numerous women, some of whom were underage, is planning to run for mayor of New York City. Many political analysts think he has a good chance of winning. His wife, Huma Abedin, a long-time aide to Hillary Clinton, is standing by her man, just as Hillary did after the Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, and Monica Lewinski scandals.

Yes, how did it work out? If New Yorkers think they have a monopoly on sleazy politicians think again. We have one here in Western Australia who can match them any time and the things he gets away with is atrocious. Needless to say I did not vote for him and never would. But he has been witnessed when under the influence of the grape at political parties, sniffing the chairs the lady Politicians had been sitting on, flicking their bra straps when he could get close enough, humping (I think that is the expression) other male politicans and then to top it all off carried on a very public affair with another female politician for which is wife dumped him. Do you think they could use him in the Big Apple?.......LOL

Let's just say it did not work out well for him. He won't be mayor of NYC, or any other sort of elected office-holder, anytime in the forseeable future.

It wasn' just his past indescretions that did him in. It was his attitude toward anyone who 'dared' to ask him about them. He was downright hostile, and without sincere remorse.

It's called "arrogance" and is one of the attributes most of the Politicians have. They think they are above having to behave in an appropriate manner.

Alas, while we won't get to see Anthony Weiner as Mayor of New York City, the man who seems destined to occupy that post, Bill de Blasio, may turn out to be an even bigger nut job. He's a career "public advocate" and "community organizer." Need I say more? Those Indians who got $24 for Manhattan must be laughing all the way to the bank.

Dave, the 'Public Advocate' is an actual elected office in New York City. He/she functions much like an attorney general does at the state level.

In addition, the Public Advocate is next in line to be Mayor, if something happens to the incumbent.

It's a 'real' position.
