Found this award winning Ice Cream parlour in the main square of San Gimignano in Tuscany, loads of flavours, the pistachio and zabaglione combo was heavenly, the coffee and the mint was also excellent (one has to try those your travelling companions choose), if youre ever there try the place out, its so much cheaper than the parlours in Siena and Florence, so you dont always get what you pay for lol. I never have liked ice cream, however a nice lemon sorbet occassionally is quite acceptable. I would usually go for a bit of vintage cheddar cheese over the ice cream for preferance. Reply #86. Mar 05 09, 12:45 AM |

Vanilla and sometimes chocolate. It used to be strawberry, till I was twelve, and my grandmother took me out to Joe Lyons for a treat. I asked for a double strawberry ice cream and a a double strawberry ice cream milkshake. My grandmother - a very wise woman - didn't say a word. The bus conductor was very nice about it too.
