Going to work, I walked past the Jaeger shop twice a day, and was mesmerised by a jacket priced at £75, thirty years ago. I tried very hard to justify spending that much, and failed every time. One happy day, I walked past when they had a sale on. The jacket I coveted was £25. There was only one left, and it was my size. (I rushed in and bought it, and wore it till it fell apart.) This sort of thing doesn't happen often enough! Reply #1. Nov 18 13, 8:36 PM |

I found this computer that I am using at this very moment. Last year I waited until after the holidays to snatch it up for half price. I am hoping to do the same this year for my grandson. Reply #2. Nov 18 13, 8:58 PM |

Lesley: I agree, it doesn't happen very often but when it does, isn't it a great feeling of accomplishment? :) November4: My friend had a similar thing happen to her last year on Black Friday. She found a computer for a very good price & bought it. She was the first person inside the store when the doors were finally opened & she headed straight for the computers. Others also had the same idea but she managed to get one! I'm not brave enough to try any shopping on Black Friday! Not my cup of tea! :P Reply #3. Nov 18 13, 11:23 PM |

I once bought 250 b-movies in a DVD collection (brand new) for $7.50. It too me 6 months to watch them all. I'd say a quarter of them were worth the time the rest just...weren't. -Nam Reply #4. Mar 13 14, 4:03 PM |

Since I can't see to drive, I do a lot of comparing shopping on line to find the best price. Reply #5. Mar 16 14, 5:28 AM |
