When it comes to jelly, there are many different flavours to choose from at your local supermarket. What's the most unusual jelly flavour that you've seen on the shelves?

I don't know much about jelly, but here in the far south west of England, about twenty years or so ago, a local farmhouse produced kipper and smoked sea trout flavoured ice cream; needless to say it only found a (very) niche market!

There isn't a lot odd in the store. We make jam and jelly. The oddest flavor we've ever made was corn cob jelly. It actually tastes like honey.

JalapeƱo Mint Jelly

Habanero Garlic Pepper Jelly (invented for those who felt other jellies were not hot enough)

Recently bought a product called 'Create a Jelly!' You simply dissolve the clear jelly crystals in boiling water then add a cup of your favourite cordial, fruit juice or soft drink. I made some yesterday and added coke. When I try it, I'll let you know what it tastes like.

Just tried my coke flavoured jelly. Didn't taste too bad.

I actually saw beer-flavored jelly when I lived in Germany. Didn't try any of it, though. I like beer, but you have to draw the line somewhere lol.

I like beet jelly. Tastes good, but it also has a "jewel-like" colour.

Pomegranate jelly is similar in beauty and taste. Add some fresh mango on top and you have a hit.

I've made lavender jelly (but added a few strawberries, since the colour was really really boring to start with lol)

Not really unusual, but I love the tomato jelly served with churros.

*shudders* Those are some pretty out-there flavors, folks. There's a company here in Florida that makes a mango jam, quite good but very sticky, but I can only find it in Rhode Island for some reason. I've tried another tropical fruit jam of theirs that wasn't as good, but the name escapes me right now. They also make a red pepper jelly I won't even try.
