There are a lot of veterans in my family - my grandfather, my uncles, my cousins. Thinking of them all today as we honor those who proudly served. Reply #2. Nov 11 16, 7:19 AM |

Thank you to all who have served all our respective countries. And my thanks, also, for the sacrifice of those who have lost loved ones in service to their country. "Imagine all the people, sharing all the world" Reply #3. Nov 11 16, 8:26 AM |

Good idea, as usual, postie.... Imagine John Lennon, Plastic Ono Band Imagine there's no heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today... Aha-ah... Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion, too Imagine all the people Living life in peace... You... You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all the people Sharing all the world... You... You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will live as one It's time to put hate aside. Rather than pushing others away, realize if not for all of us...there could be none of us. Peace out...go in peace... Reply #4. Nov 11 16, 8:36 AM |

Every Veterans Day my thoughts turn to the thousands of submariners who never made it back during WWII. There is an online memorial site dedicated to their memory. Many of the WWII vets have no photo to go along with their memorial. If your family lost someone on a boat during the war, you can send them a photo, and it will be added free of charge. http://oneternalpatrol.com/ Reply #5. Nov 11 16, 11:27 PM |
