Subject: Adopted Quizzes

Do any other authors here feel they sometimes adopt quizzes on topics they know nothing about? I do think I do that, quite often actually. For example, my hobbies quiz (and first ever adoptee) "Do You Know These Rose Colors?" is a topic I know (knew) nothing about. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. With the help of the internet, I got it online and learned some new things.

So I thought it would be fun to know your experience with adopting quizzes.

I go for what I find to have potential and what I find to be interesting. The goal, for me, is to elevate the original quiz pretty substantially, so I try to avoid leaving anything in the quiz as-is. Sometimes that means changing everything; sometimes that means recontextualizing; sometimes it means filling in complete info sections left empty before.

That's what I did with my recent humanities quiz. I did have a lot of fun improving that one. The new format was perfect!
