Subject: VG Single Questions

So I'm writing a video games quiz (my first one) and last night it had to be sent back for more work. The editor told me that four of my questions are too similar and it would be better if I changed a couple. I don't want to just throw away the ones I plan to replace; they can be used as single questions. When I go to the question post, there is no option to select VG as the category for the question. Why? Are you no longer accepting VG single qns?

There never has been the option to submit single questions in the video game category. I've written a few video games questions for the question quest, they go into the entertainment category instead. Reply #1. May 12 23, 4:50 PM |

Because they have low appeal in the New Question Game and very often plummet in ratings. There's scrutiny behind them in the Entertainment queue; we won't accept duplicate questions there (ie. if they're already in quizzes) and we're a lot stricter about the 'this is too obscure' side of it, since generally, VG is still seen as a niche audience.
