As you'll note, we're upping the game a bit. Instead of two quizzes per destination, we're looking for a minimum of three per spot! Happy travels! Reply #1. Nov 14 25, 1:13 PM |

Good morning! I'm lucky in that I had run across several abbey references in one of my Quiz Month researches. So I went back to them and just submitted Quiz 421932 which falls under "World". Thanks! Reply #2. Nov 15 25, 11:56 AM |

You say Abbey Road, I think Beatles. Here's my take on the visit. Reply #3. Nov 20 25, 12:46 PM |

Bumping this up to appeal for one more Abbey Road-inspired quiz to move us on to the next stop. I don't think I can write a second one to make it happen? Reply #4. Dec 21 25, 3:19 AM |

I may take a crack at it, if it is still available in a few days... I want to finish some other projects first before taking on more :) Reply #5. Dec 21 25, 8:53 AM |

Technically LT, yes, you can write more than one per stop. Ideally we have a few different authors for each, but I wouldn't stop anyone from letting inspiration run free. Reply #6. Dec 21 25, 2:04 PM |

I could either write a quiz about artists who have recorded at Abbey Road studios or about St John's Wood where it's located in London. I don't know which category the latter would qualify for, however. If LT wants to write another one, though, I don't mind. It’s just a suggestion. Reply #7. Jan 06 26, 1:04 PM |

Or, if salami_swami wants it, that's okay. I just noticed the reply. Reply #8. Jan 06 26, 1:06 PM |

I do not want to write a third one (but do want to see the next stop), and I encourage both salami and Kalibre to write one. Previous tours have happily taken more than the minimum for moving on, and the more the merrier. Reply #9. Jan 06 26, 1:42 PM |

Go for it, Kalibre. I'm at a stall for an idea, I will revisit, but I'd like to get us moving in to the next stop, so would love to see your contribution! :) Reply #10. Jan 06 26, 1:57 PM |

Okay, salami_swami and looney_tunes. I can't decide whether to go for music or St John's Wood. Which category for the latter, please, LT? I sometimes get confused with categories. Duh! I only suggested it because I noticed you said the challenge wasn’t progressing. Just trying to help out in some way. Reply #11. Jan 06 26, 3:17 PM |

Kalibre, if your quiz is about the actual location, it would probably fit in the Geography subcategory of London. But if you chose to focus on some other particular feature of St John's Wood, such as Lords Cricket Ground, that would change it! Reply #12. Jan 07 26, 4:22 PM |

Just noting, this game allows for creative interpretation, so you could write about cricket grounds, just including Lords as one of them. Or you could make a collection Music quiz in which players had to select the albums recorded at Abbey Road instead of somewhere else. Or categorise some songs as Abbey Road or another famous studio (maybe something in Nashville?). There just has to be a link in there, the site we are visiting doesn't even need to feature in the quiz (as long as the link remains clear), let alone be the focus of it. Reply #13. Some great ideas from you, LT. Thanks very much for that. I did have a look this afternoon and thought it would be the Geography category for London, as I saw some others there. I must think about whether to go for that or albums. Thinking-cap on! : ) Reply #14. Jan 07 26, 4:38 PM |

I have decided to go for a music quiz. It's going to be about various artists who have recorded at Abbey Road studios. I'm currently busy thinking about multiple-choice questions for it. One written and nine to go. Reply #15. Jan 08 26, 4:08 PM |

Onward, then. Is it Europe? Is it Asia? You decide your approach to the not-capital of Turkey (or Turkiye), Istanbul. Reply #17. Jan 18 26, 5:02 PM |

Would 'a quiz about They Might Be Giants because they did Istanbul (Not Constantinople)' count as an inventive Istanbul connection, or is that too tangential? Reply #18. Jan 18 26, 5:59 PM |

I would suggest that the quiz should go into a bit more than one question about the song 'Istanbul' if that's a route you choose to take, otherwise it's going to feel a bit removed from the source destination. Reply #19. Jan 19 26, 7:52 PM |
