The best place to report such things is in the Forums, on the Feedback board.![]() You'll need to register for the Forums separately. During registration, use the same user name and password that you use for the main site. Are you certain you've won 6 times? Tier two is for 3 wins, and tier 3 is for 10 wins. There isn't a tier for 6 wins. ![]() Reply #1. Jun 07 24, 7:27 PM |

Thank you, I will register right away. And yes, that is my point. I should have gotten the upgrade for 3 wins, and my page at the bottom says: "Status: You have won 6 sets so far. " But I have not been upgraded. Thank you again for your help. Jonathan Reply #2. Jun 07 24, 10:48 PM |

Help please! Just over a week ago, I found myself logged out of the private tournament I've been playing for about 14 years. It invited me to log in, but rejected the password it offered - and offered to send me a link to reset it. I accepted twice, and didn't get an email either time - and yes, FT does have the right email address. I might have asked for help in the forums but I'm logged out of them as well. The offered me a password but rejected that too. So I went to the "help" section on the 13th, and it promised me a reply in the next few days. Does six days count as a few? Please can you help me get back into my private tournament without having to create a new account? Reply #3. Dec 18 24, 6:25 PM |

Hi Lesley, I just tried a private tournament I've had since 2009. I logged out, and asked for my password. They asked for either my user name or email. I gave my user name, and was shown this message: "One moment... User Found! An email has been sent to the email address we have on file, containing your ID and a link where you can reset your password. It should arrive in your inbox shortly." It did arrive at my email... but not in the inbox. Try again, and check your spam or junk folder. Hopefully, that's it. Reply #4. Dec 18 24, 7:26 PM |

Thank you but it's not there. I check my spam folder as often as I check everything else - and it's empty. Reply #5. Dec 18 24, 9:13 PM |

How long did you wait for the email? I've just asked again, got the same "user found" message, but nothing in any of my folders. I also did a search for Funtrivia emails, and got an FT email inviting me to reset my password, but it rejected it because it's valid for only one change - and it was from 2011! Ah well, it was worth a try. Reply #6. Dec 18 24, 9:21 PM |

I did originally use a hotmail address, but now have a gmail address, which I used in all three requests for a password reset. I also checked my FT account, and that's up to date as well. My user name's been the same from the beginning. All that protest that I constantly check my spam folder - and I completely missed the email alerting me to a message from gtho4 on 13/12. (Embarrassing.) He says that the tournament host had deleted me, which must have been an accident but I can't ask her because she died about eight years ago. And his message included the old hotmail address, so that's probably the root of the confusion, and no, I still don't understand what's happened. I hope gtho4 will get to the bottom of it! Reply #7. O.K. It looks like you need help that is above my pay grade. I'll notify someone perhaps better able to assist. Reply #8. Dec 18 24, 9:38 PM |

Hi Lesley, As gtho4 taught me all I know about the private tournaments, it won't help if I intervene in your correspondence with him - other than to say he's the best contact for you but he's in Australia so please allow for the time difference. :) I will say, however, that the Main site/Forums/Private Tournaments do allow for different email accounts and/or passwords - and the most common reason why people don't get password reminders when they ask for them is that the system in question has an old email address on record which the player has long since abandoned/forgotten. Anyway, stick with gtho4 and I hope you can get it sorted. Reply #9. Dec 18 24, 11:03 PM |

Resolved - hurrah! You were right, flopsy! Here's what he wrote: "The email address for 89202 is what you used when you registered for that tournament. It's different from your FT email address (as they're two different databases)." I've told him he's my hero. Thank you both for your help and moral support, and for saving me from having to create a new account. ? Reply #10. Dec 19 24, 6:00 PM |

The ? at the end of my last post was a symbol failure. I typed ALT 3, which should have produced a heart. Consider yourselves blown kisses. :) Reply #11. Dec 19 24, 6:02 PM |

I'm happy it got straightened out, and you can go back to playing your tournament. I currently play several of them, and find they are a quick, no pressure, way to jolt my mind for the rigours of the main site :-) Reply #12. Dec 19 24, 6:22 PM |

Thank you, me too. It was an unrelated forum which ran a private tournament, which I played for a while before I found the courage to touch main, and that's how I found FT! For me, the private tournament is a gentle way to make contact with another FT member - as well as stretching my brain. Reply #13. Dec 19 24, 8:58 PM |

There are a few error messages, with different wordings depending on the problem. There's not much anyone can do except follow any advice given. In this case, the server was clearly so busy that it couldn't accept any more work (e.g. quiz/game submissions) for a while (which might only have been a couple of seconds) but it recorded the error and sent a note to the admins. Most of the time that means Terry; if he thinks the problem will lead to a server crash, he'll reboot the server. Reply #17. Jan 09 25, 5:27 AM |
