Subject: Annoying LACK of Extra Information

Posted by: odo5435

The 'extra information' supplied with a significant number of questions seems intent on explaining why the wrong selections are wrong, but give no information about the correct answer nor about why that choice is correct. This is frustrating for players who are here not only to win, but to learn. Yes, there are search engines but why should we have to?

Admittedly, knowing the correct answer implies that further information is superfluous. But, when a player does NOT know the correct answer, it is useful to learn something interesting about THAT answer; rather than why the incorrect choices were wrong.

Is this coming up as an issue more in the daily/hourly quizzes? Because if this is the case, there's a possibility that the questions lack the context of the larger quiz, during which the topic in question is discussed in previous info sections.

If it's happening in larger quizzes, it's a valid criticism, and I do hope that you rate the quizzes accordingly if you feel they're not up to the standards you feel it should be.
