Subject: Celebrity Deaths ...

Posted by: callie_ross
Date: Aug 06 07

Have you ever cried over the death of someone famous? I know I have, silly as it may sound. I'll never forget the day Kurt Cobain died. I heard it on the tv, and just froze and I felt stunned at first. I was shocked and then I cried like a big baby! I am a huge fan of Kurt's, and his music means alot to me, so naturally I was saddened by his death. Also, when George Harrison died, I was pretty torn up. I didn't even know he had been ill, and I loved him so! What celebrity deaths have you cried over? You can list more than one if you would like!

Old Yeller! Ticked me off when I was a kid.

More recent though would have to be Steve Erwin. He was larger than life and seeing his brave little daughter make it through the weeks afterwards was touching. I hate seeing kids suffer.

This post was doing pretty good before the incident, so let me open it back up again with the same question. Who do you think is the best actor/actress that has passed away? You can list one, or as many as you like, it doesn't matter to me.

3sCompany John Ritter. I love him so much! I honestly think that he was the most talented person to ever have lived. He was so kind, and caring. Just an all around great guy. His passing was so sad. It still maked me cry every once and a while. I know he will be missed forever, and ever! I love you John.

satc_rules I absolutely loved Katharine Hepburn, she was so different and I respected her for her attitude. And Leigh Bowery, he was truly original and there will never be another man (or woman!) like him.

usaf01 River Phoenix for sure. I really like him and thought he was great all around. As an actor and person he was wonderful, if you really knew things about him and looked past his drug problem. He bought rainforests so nobody could cut them down and helped other animals. And he was a beautiful wonderful actor.

ritter03 John Ritter! He was the most tallented actor that will ever live and he was so sweet. He had all the qualities that anyone could ever want in a man. Its a shame that he died, I still cry about it - he will be greatly missed.

URAbooger I really miss John Ritter. He was such a good man. I went to school crying that day when i found out now he will not be able to see his daughter grow. I have a little memorial of him with pictures and stuff on the back of my door. Sometimes i just star at the pictures and read the articles and cry. He was a great man and no one else will be just like him. He will always be in my heart. I love John Ritter so much.

lauraatkinson I have to agree and say River Phoenix and Kurt Cobain. But I would also like to add Jonathan Brandis, Aaliyah, Tupac Shakur, and Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez (although I realize a lot of them are singers). Some of my favorite actors from the Golden Age would include Marilyn Monroe, Natalie Wood, James Dean, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Katharine Hepburn, and Marlon Brando. I know that a lot of actors die from old age, but I also think it's weird how a lot of their deaths seem so mysterious to us nowadays. Drug overdoses, car accidents, mysterious drownings. Drama, drama, drama.

francodr There are so many great actors that have passed away including: Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart, Katherine Hepburn, James Dean, Grace Kelly, Bob Hope, Natalie Wood, Fred Astaire, Gregory Peck, Marlene Dietrich, Rock Hudson, Marylin Monroe, Clark Gable, Henry Fonda, Greta Garbo, Vivien Leigh, Lilian Gish, James Cagney and Andre the Giant.

Among the more modern artists are Aaliyah, Notorious BIG and Lisa 'Lefteye' Lopez of "TLC".

Subject: Anna Nicole Smith's demise

On Thursday, February 8, 2007, Anna Nicole Smith
clapsed and died in her room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel near Hollywood, Florida. After that, Anna Nicole Smith's body went to a hospital. Dr. Joshua A. Perper, the Florida state Chief Medical examiner, performed an autopsy on her body. I feel so sorry for the baby because it is going
to grow up with no parents.

Beginning with the first one I remember:

John Kennedy
Bobby Kennedy
Elvis
John Lennon
Princess Diana
Steve Irwin

Too many more to list, sadly.

Marc Bolan. Helene Hanff. Charles Schultz. Brian Johnson. Those were the four I think really affected me.

Anna Nicole Smith, NOT. Johnny Cash and John Ritter were both sad also Buck Owens.

Princess Diana Steve Irwin and Anna Nicole Chris Farley all made me sad. Phil Hartman's death was a tragedy. They all had so much potential and so much more to offer this world and we are deprived of them.
