I don't pay attention to those ratings, but they matter to some. If people want them, let them have them. Reply #1. Jan 01 12, 7:43 AM |

Crikey! They have just been reset and I'm in second place... *shakes head and rolls eyes* Reply #2. Jan 02 12, 6:01 AM |

Well done - nothing like a bit of advancement and some good eye rollage. There's some sort of rating for global challenge. I don't understand it and I have no idea why some players choose to hide theirs. If you brave the forums, you will find much soul-searching and navel-gazing on the subject of various statistics. I have read them, even participated, until I realise that my chin is on my knees. Then I leave quietly, walking slowly backwards, no eye contact, no sudden movements... ... to join Postie! Reply #3. Here we are at the 28th of January, the Champion Division for Mixed Games has been reset for almost a month and there are 13 players in the Champion Division rated in the top 100 who have not yet played the game 5 times, 6 who have only played once, yet they are still rated in the top 100, how is this possible or even fair? Sounds like I'm whining, but I'm not, I'm just asking. Anyone? I'm familiar with ELO as an explanation, but ELO doesn't reset, so I thought that there might be an explanation outside of ELO. Xmaster, it generally takes completing most, if not all of the challenges for a given category. It does take time, but it's well worth callenging yourself :-) Reply #7. Mar 15 14, 6:22 PM |
