The two night premiere were Wednesday and Thursday. Anyone have any thoughts yet? It's too early to have solid impressions of the houseguests. I do think I'm going to like the cop though. What do you think of the AI theme? I'm not sure yet. Is Ainsley a real person? Or is she an actual AI character? I know technology has improved a great deal, but she seems a little too real. Her voice and mannerisms remind me of Rachel A LOT. If the show really did make an AI character and modeled it after a person, I can see them basing it off of Rachel. CBS loves her. Reply #1. It's a little soon to make favorite people...however (lol!), I also like Kenny the Cop and I am also leaning toward the young woman who won the advantage. The Chef, holy cow, she would drive me NUTS. That fake happy little high pitched voice and that glitter, yikes. I would never have game play with her as i would always have to be in another room lest I punched her in the face, really, just for talking...all the time and in that voice. Again, all the jocks are hanging around the pool table and working out talking about how athletic they are and game domination, yada yada yada. Matt going on about Angela saying he was looking for a showmance, etc. Well, in his intro, wasn't he the one who said he was open to a showmance and wanted to settle down? I thought that it was him. Anyway, he made such a big deal about what she had said, and unbelievably threatened her if he went up. I can't see him lasting too long in the game with the zero filter on his mouth. I totally agree about Lisa (chef). I'm a huge glitter-phobe. I would have had some words with that gal. I would run, but I wouldn't want to appear weak. Just seeing the glitter on TV gave me the eebie-jeebies. I can't open cards or anything with glitter. Yeah, I'm that bad. Whoever invented that stuff is evil. Angela annoys me. Her intro she said she is the cool mom. I thought, "Let's ask her kids", lol. When she was up for HOH I wanted to scream, "Noooo!!" And I rooted for Kenny so bad. I can't believe she put up Kenny. Shouldn't the older folks stick together some, or least not put each other up? Statistically, the older players don't get as far as the young ones. I just got done watching last night's episode. Oh my gosh Angela! Paranoid much? Slow your roll, girl! Kenny sat there looking like, "Should I deescalate this situation?". And why does she think Quinn and them are lying to her? He told her he won power. That should show he's honest. She looked borderline psycho in her room talking to herself, yelling, gritting her teeth, etc. This is only week one. I'd hate to see what she's like a month or so in and when she is on the block. Yikes I love love love the mascot costumes. They are adorable! Cedric is a little cutie pie. He has pretty eyes. Please don't let Kenny go home. :( I don't remember them saying there is an AI arena. That was cray-cray for sure. She went off the grid with that outburst. I was thinking, girl, just stop NOW. Salvage what's left of your game. You know, I am a Mom...you are a Mom, she is a Mom. When you have been a Mom for any length of time, you develop the MOM VOICE. The MOM VOICE is a powerful thing indeed. Matt's "I'll get you if you target me" speech,was too much, however, her approach to him was awful. He seemed to honestly not understand why what he had said was wrong.(although many many people have said the same thing over many many seasons) She should have taken him aside and used the MOM VOICE on him and explained why it was wrong and wouldn't be tolerated. He would have felt bad and apologized etc. The spectacle she put on only succeeded in making everyone uncomfortable and making any of her alliance members rethink their alliance with her. Making fun of him (crazy eyes) and threatening him and telling the young woman who is friends with him that she "could do so much better". Jeez. Add to that, the ones who approached her with the alliance the night before, she thinks they are all lying. What?? Quinn actually told her about his advantage. (dumb move there). Made a final two with her. I bet is is rethinking that move. One minute she is crying about putting up nominees and the next minute she is screaming at someone in front of the entire house, being super mean and nasty. Well, at least it is not boring!! LOL!! "Mom voice", lol, I agree. I think the crying at nominations were crocodile tears. She is not even good at lying. Making fun of his looks went too far. First of all, his eyes aren't that bad. Plus, to humiliate him in front of everyone... let's just say not very mom-like, lady-like, or mature. The mascot costumes remind me of Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon's skit on SNL... Matt went home. I am a little surprised, because I figured he would have had more of the young votes. Angela will most likely go next unless she miraculously wins a competition. Bummer. I thought they would have sent Angela home last night. Lisa (glitter girl) left and I wasn't too upset about that. Quinn needs to be careful. Someone is bound to catch on to all of his alliances. I wish they would go back to letting us see HOH competitions. I had to go see who won. That is the only time I read or watch spoilers. It isn't fun that way, but I don't want to wait until Sunday, lol. Who is your favorite? It is still early, but as of now I am liking Cedric and Chelsie. I liked Kenney, but he doesn't get much airtime. It's hard to get a grasp on his personality. Speaking of personality... holy cow, Angela! I've never someone that, um, crazy? Hyper? Paranoid? Well, Angela is up again. I laughed when she said Kenny didn't know what was going on in the game....and she does??! LOL! I missed Thursday night, got the time wrong, and didn't want to comment till I had seen what happened, because it sure seemed like they wanted Angela gone. However, every time I tried to watch the episode on my laptop, it would "break: and I just couldn't get it to work. So, i am clueless about what happened there. Fill me in if you have the time! My favourites...hmm...well, I do like Kenney, and Makensey (spelling of that??)Kind of rooting for Leah too. Kenny seems very emotional for a hardened police detective. I wasn't expecting that. Quinn may be blown up any day...I loved it when he said, during the comp, I want to win to prove to my 30 allies that I will be of value. Too funny! Jokes on him if Angela blabs his secret, or one of his many allies happens to talk to another ally...whoops. Angela, of course, "I have to win to secure my place in this game". YAWN. and once again YAWN. I beg of them, please, come up with another line. I seem to recall once we had a good time listing all the same old same old lines that everyone parrots...such as "throw me under the bus" and that old time classic, "I AM going to win the "___" fill in the blank,,,"I have to win the "____". "I didn't come here to make friends. I am going to fool them all, I am going to win. This has been my lifelong dream. I'm going to crush this challenge. Best blindside ever. Ad nauseam I am waiting for the day when new lines appear...how about..."I feel like I am being thrown under a zamboni" Or, "'ll leave here with so many amazing new friends, that's all I ever wanted"...."I'll never win a challenge, physical or mental cuz i suck at everything, so I am not going to pretend that i will" Anyway, I really hope that it will not be one of those seasons where you know every single move in advance, controlled by one group. I love your alternate phrases, lol. Yeah, they should just say, "I'm bad at competitions, so I'll just float to whoever is HOH this week. Besides, I just wanted to get a paid vacation and get a showmance". We all know that is very true for some. As for Angela staying... They had a tough decision, because most wanted both players gone. Lisa aka glitter girl was ultimately seen as the bigger threat of comps. I don't know how much more I can take of Angela. Yep, she doesn't know the game any better than Kenney. People tried to align with her, yet she thought they only "acted worse than a B movie"?? Kenney misses his family really bad. I feel sorry for him. Wow, what a week! What was Tucker thinking when he used power of veto on Angela? Use it on yourself! Duh. He's lucky he won the arena, because I'm sure he would have been evicted. I like Kenney, but I'm not too upset that he left. He will be happy to be with his family and we won't have to see him wishy washy. I always think of people that auditioned but didn't make it. I know. He said he had tried for years to get on the show. No one knew where he stood, seesawing between leaving or staying. He had originally said he would use the veto to save Angela (???) Then that he would use it on himself. I guess I expected a bit more from a police detective in decision making! Tucker is showing himself to be the absolute #1 top player in challenges. That means his time is limited unless he continues to win every single challenge! LOL! He should not have told Cedric that he was his main target. Oops. The funny thing is, he would have made a great team with Lisa. too much same personality I guess. Quinn, Quinn, Quinn. I'd be a tad worried if i were you...seeing how America voted your little self to go on the block. Maybe not as loved by all as thought. Angela, somehow still remains. Not by any of her efforts, even though I had to listen to about 6 Diary Room sessions where she says she Had to WIN and Will Win to guarantee her safety. Add that to the list of cliches, Guarantee my safety. ARG!!! No doubt I will have to hear her say it a minimum of 6 more times tonight. It is Felicia all over again. I fear the target will shift (if not already) to Tucker and Makensey and Leah. I would like all three of them to stay so we don't end up with a completely boring season. Jeez people, win an HOH, and don't target each other!!!!! Open your eyes and take a good look around the house and see what the alliances are!!!! Holy Toledo... I have been MIA! Sorry about that. I don't have cable, so I have to watch on a feed the next day. Then it slips my mind to come here. OK, enough with my excuses... I was so unhappy that my boy Cedric got the boot. :( He did the classic "volunteer for the Pawn and it bites you in the rear". Will these players ever learn? We say this EVERY season. I'm sure you could go back to every thread and read where we said it, lol. Angela cried over cheese. Oh my goodness, and I swear this is the first time they were real - not crocodile tears, lol. Tucker shocked us again with using the veto to take Quinn off the block. I'll tell you what, he makes this season interesting. Speaking of interesting, I heard Angela was on a couple CBS shows in the past. Price is Right and Let's Make a Deal. These game shows, by the way, pick random players out of the audience. She just happens to get picked? Is it a coincidence she came here too? My daughter said she heard the producers planted her to cause chaos. Well she sure did that first couple weeks. Reply #17. Hmm, Brooklyn this week. I don't really recall seeing a whole lot of her until this week. I'm so glad that Chelsie won the AI Arena. She and Cedric were my favorites and he left last week. I don't really have clear favorites. Mainly I have opinions on the houseguests: Tucker - Cocky, but shakes things up and keeps it interesting. Needs to stop winning everything, although it's too late for that. Angela - She's just flat out psycho. Quinn - Knows a lot about the game, but he seems to have forgotten that it is not a good thing to be in every alliance, not to mention create all of them. Needs to start wining comps or else he's a goner. T-Kor and Kimo - Basically the same person and can't think for themselves. Makensy - I like her, but she doesn't do much. Maybe it is just bad editing. She still has great potential. Maybe win HOH and we will get more air time. Leah - Boring. I forget she is there until she cries during eviction nights. Cam - Same as Leah... boring and is just there. Blah Joseph - Seems smart to what's going around him. Sometimes he fades in the background. Well, I was right and Tucker got it. His first one was dumb. He needs to cause chaos, not state something everyone already knows. I hope he gets more creative. That was so weird seeing everyone following T'Kor. I would have walked in the bathroom and see what they did, lol. Oh and my gosh -- Kimo and Rubino was creepy crying when T'Kor won HOH!
