Subject: Too rude, or not too rude?

Some American supermarkets are refusing to stock the latest album by UK band The Arctic Monkeys because they say the title is too rude. The album is called 'Suck It And See'. If a child asks 'what does a lemon taste like?', what do you tell them? Exactly. What's rude about that? Some peoples minds seem to go in totally the wrong direction.

Funny...I reckon had Aerosmith's album "Toys in the Attic" been named "Big 10 Inch" they would have done the same.

And if someone asks you if a wire is live, what do you tell them?

(Yes, someone really did say that to me. Every office has someone who thinks he's funny.)

Music is about expression. I guarantee the store(s) you're referring to have albums for sale that feature 'rude' songs (or song titles); what's the difference, really. Especially when the CD title you mentioned could be taken (understood) any number of ways. Out of sight, out of mind... I don't think so!

I'm 100% sure the band in question here is not talking about a lemon.

Wonder if they ever stocked "Smack my bitch up".

When I worked in Saudi, I saw the CD for 'Houses of the Holy' on sale. Someone had carefully blacked out all the children's bodies.
