Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Gives me chills. Also love Rocket Man Candle In The Wind (the original!) Reply #81. Feb 20 19, 10:43 AM |

As a song from an album I'd probably choose 'Your Song' but I love this live version of 'Funeral For a Friend/Tonight' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoNYyn3FPTM&list=FLGGEn5ziDGQqNRr1m3pwHBg&index=2&t=0s Reply #82. Feb 20 19, 5:07 PM |

That's lovely Mix. I also like the song I Want Love from his later album Songs from the West Coast. Sings it with Billy Joel. (I posted some Sandy Denny on your folk page) Reply #83. Feb 21 19, 1:05 AM |

"I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues" Not a big Elton John fan, but that song speaks a truth to me. Reply #85. Feb 28 19, 4:44 AM |

Not possible for me to narrow it down to one with a swinging rock and roll outlaw like Sir Elton. Honestly, it's sad, so sad, it's a sad sad situation - and it's getting more and more absurd. However, I think I can somehow narrow it down to four. Those would be Levon, Tiny Dancer, Don't Let The Sun Go Down on Me, and All the Girls Love Alice. There are very likely others I haven't heard in years that are just not coming to me right now. Calling this guy a legend is a serious understatement. I remember when rock was young...….. Reply #86.
