Subject: Farewell drivemecrazy

Yesterday, I received a note - Jolie Wiley, who I met many years ago through the FT Poetry Blogs as drivemecrazy, has very sadly passed away.

For all the happy hours spent chatting with her and many other crazy friends I discovered, the poetry and the quirky tales, thank you Jo.
You are a very special and sweet friend and will be missed.

May you rest well and always have poetry and light.

Everything that MarchHare said. Sweet, and much too young.

RIP Jolie. (((((())))))

Well said, Stew. I've met Jo playing Last One Standing, when this game was still here on FT. We became friends almost instantly and her loss saddens me deeply, as for many I'm sure. She often turned to me in some difficult times that she lived and I was honored that she did have confidence in me. It was a bit like a brother taking care of his little sister.

Rest in peace Jolie. I love you!

That was a terrible shock, I just heard on the phone and only saw her Facebook page update a few years ago so had no idea there was a problem. We had some good conversations on messenger for a while and had she not lived 300 miles away I would really have liked to meet her at the time. She also had the most replies (by many times over) on her original blog, and always had something entertaining to say when she popped up somewhere. A great loss indeed.

Saddened to hear that Jo has passed on. At such a young age too. She will be missed by us all.

I am very saddened to hear this. I was on her team for awhile and had some long joke filled talks with her at times. She was a great person and team leader.

Thanks for letting us know. I've put a note on her quiz so editors will take care of any problems that arise - we will keep it online as long as possible as a little remembrance of her.

Please pass our condolences on to her family.

What a shock. I'm very, very saddened to hear of her passing. She was beautiful inside and out. I lost touch with her, but at one time we used to chat on messenger and play games together on "Last One Standing". My deepest condolences to her family.

As the 'cap'n' of Jo's last team Poetic License I have to post my impressions of the young lady here. I met Jo like many of us in LOS. She began chatting with me and we developed a friendly relationship that extended into chat rooms. I found her to be a highly intelligent and opinionated young woman. After a few weeks, she invited me to join the team she was on 'Game Show Addicts'. Once I joined GSA, I saw my first picture of her, I was floored. We have constantly been teammates on various teams ending with PL. Jo got me involved in FaceBook and we played a few games there together over the years. I still consider her the person that got me started on 'social media'. She left this site probably about 6 months ago, without fanfare...turning the reins of the team over to me, without mentioning illness. She cared about her team and the people in it and all her friends here. She touched a lot lives, she affected a lot of people, she will be missed, she will be remembered. RIP DMC xx

"Jool" was part of a group that used to write stories together on this site seveal years ago. The stories were goofy and funny and sometimes strange. Her contributions were always clever. It is very sad that she is gone. She was very special and will be missed by a lot of people here.

We still write storys on our team board...she started the thread years ago when we formed the team. I think we're close to 8000 posts on it. There are funny passages and sometimes the sentences even have punctuation.

Wow. That's unbelievable. I had no idea. I remember conversing with her a few years back - she was a really intelligent, beautiful, lively, friendly person. Can any say what happened?
