WWE NXT Review for January 8th 2014

Match 1:Bayley Beat Summer Rae in a good match to kick off NXT

Match 2:Aiden English Beat Colin Cassidy

Match 3:Alexander Rusev Beat Xavier Woods

Match 4:Tyson Kidd Beat Baron Corbin

Match 5:The Ascension Beat Hunico & Camacho

This is week's NXT wasn't that good

Triple H opens NXT with a announcement that on February 27th 2014 WWE NXT goes live for one night on the WWE Network

Isn't it great to see the New Age Outlaws having a little run these past few weeks? Only thing is that it reminds me how much better it all was when those guys were in their prime.

Wwe seems obsessed with bringing back all kinds of old talent in the run up to mania every year now. They used to make new stars... Now they just recycle old ones.

Hope they don't drop the ball with some of the new guys they're trying to build up right now. I want to see Roman Reigns in the main event fairly soon for example.

Roman Reigns is the star of The Shield followed by Dean Ambrose then Seth Rollins

Talking about old stars it you've got Hulk Hogan coming back for Wrestlemania 30 also Roddy Piper & if the rumors are true then for the first time ever a match will get inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame Hulk Hogan & Mr T vs Roddy Piper & Paul Orndorff from Wrestlemania 1

They will join the headline act The Ultimate Warrior

I'm also happy cause instead of waiting til Wednesday to watch WWE Raw on Foxtel from February 4th it will air Live on Fox8 from 12pm Daylight Saving time & 10am non Daylight Saving

WWE NXT Review January 22nd 2014

They had a different ring announcer this week it was Cody Rhodes wife Brandi Rhodes aka Eden Stiles

Match 1:Adrian Neville Beat Wesley Blake

There was a backstage promo with The BFF's which Summer Rae did a good promo while i hated Charlotte's promo

Match 2:Alexander Rusev Beat Xavier Woods

Match 3:Antonio Cesaro Beat CJ Parker

After the match Sami Zayn came out issued a challenge for a rematch with Cesaro, Cesaro said no

Match 4:Natalya Beat Summer Rae

Bo Dallas had a party celebration in the ring for his 224th day as NXT Champion becoming the longest reiging NXT Champion But Adrian Neville wanting a NXT Title match Bo wouldn't grant him one but Triple H came on the screen & said if Adrian Neville can not get pin or submitted by Bo Dallas in 4 minutes & 45 seconds then Neville can get a NXT Championship match

Adrian Neville won when Bo Dalals couldn't pinor submit him in the time period meaning on the Live edition of WWE NXT on the WWE Network on February 27th it will be Bo Dallas vs Adrian Neville for the NXT Championship

WWE Royal Rumble 2014 Review January 26th 2014

Preshow:New Age Outlaws Beat The Brotherhood to win the Tag Titles

PPV

Match 1:Bray Wyatt Beat Daniel Bryan in the match of the night this match was so good

Match 2:Brock Lesnar Beat Big Show

Match 3:Randy Orton Beat John Cena to retain the WWE Title-This is the match that the Pittsburgh crowd hijack cause they couldn't care less about the crowd chanted "This Is Awful", "We Want Divas", "Randy Savage", "Make This End" & lots more chants

Match 4:Batista won the Royal Rumble

I was quite annoyed with the Pittsburgh crowd, not for how they were treating the Orton/Cena match because it's ridiculous to keep on pushing these two guys for the main event when we've seen it so many times before and when Cena splits the crowd (at best!) therefore he is a terrible babyface.
It was because they had spoilt child syndrome after they realised that Daniel Bryan was not going to feature in the Royal Rumble match and attempted to spoil what I thought was a pretty good rumble match with lots of stories being furthered like CM Punk going from 1 only to be sabotaged by Kane/ the authority. Batista's return, Rhodes brothers losing the titles and then Dustin eliminates Cody. Finally the Shield going through to the end and the highlight being Roman Reigns with his continued huge push. Beating Kane's elimination record to go with his tying the record at Survivor Series and his clean win over Punk. This guy is going to be a huge star for the company, but main eventing WM is too soon, he couldn't win this. It could only have been Batista. Batista needs to look as strong as possible heading into the rest of the year otherwise it's meaningless when he puts over current guys later on. Just look at Jericho's last run, he was beaten by everybody so it meant less that they were beating him.

I think there are still big plans for Daniel Bryan, and I thought this crowd was pretty lame for their reaction to the end of the Rumble match.

Agree about the Bryan/Wyatt match though, that was excellent, filled with great spots and good psychology.

I felt so sorry for Rey Mysterio getting booed by everyone who hoping that Daniel Bryan would come out at 30 but when Rey came out instead.

They didn't need to have Kevin Nash or El Torito in there

Batista looked of gas 2 minutes into the rumble

Yeah Batista does not look in tiptop shape does he?

When it got to 27 or 28 I'd already worked out there was no Daniel Bryan because a couple of the guys that did promos before the match were yet to appear. Also felt bad for Rey, didn't think it was possible for him to get booed in Pittsburgh given his ecw connection but there you go.

Having moaned about the Pittsburgh crowd already I must say that they were making me laugh too. When JBL got eliminated after about 10 seconds and one section starts chanting 'you still got it!', cracked me up.

Match 1:Alexander Rusev Beat Sin Cara-This was good match involing the new Sin Cara(Hunico) he didn't botch one move.

Match 2:Emma Beat Alicia Fox-This was ggod divas match between these two

Match 3:Mason Ryan Beat Sylvester LeFort

Match 5:Adrian Neville Beat Corey Graves

After the match Bo Dallas to attack Neville but before he could do that Triple H comes out & announces that on the Live NXT PPV on February 27th on the WWE Network that the Bo Dallas-Adrian Neville NXT Championship match will be Ladder Match

First Batista wins the Royal Rumble

CM Punks quits the WWE & hasn't been heard from since January 28th but pictures of him picking up his girlfriend AJ Lee from the airport in chicago was posted online couple days ago

The WWE Network launches This Monday

It was announced yesterday that Hulk Hogan is returning to WWE this Monday on Raw & he will be the host of Wrestlemania XXX

Match 3:Titus O'Neil Beat Darren Young-This should've been the Kickoff Show match

Match 4:The Wyatt Family Beat The Shield in the match of the night this was so good i consided this the Match Of The Year but an NXT Arrival match took that place instead

Match 6:Batista Beat Alberto Del Rio in a boring match

This was the first Live event held on the WWE Network

Match 1:Cesaro Beat Sami Zayn in the Match Of The Year so far this was their 4th meeting on NXT & it lived up to all the hybe thier match on par with their Best 2 Out Of 3 Falls that was done last August on NXT

Match 2:Mojo Rawley Beat CJ Parker

Match 3:The Ascension Beat Too Cool to retain the NXT Tag Titles

Match 4:Paige Beat Emma to retain the NXT Womens Title-This was the 2nd best match of the night & this Divas match put all the Main Roster Divas matches to shame cause this was the best WWE Divas match i've seen in ages

Match 5:Adrian Neville Beat Bo Dallas in NXT first ever Ladder Match to win the NXT Championship
