He was a fine actor, but parts are limited when you're almost 7'2" tall. Does anyone remember him as Miguelito Loveless' assistant in "The Wild, Wild West"? Reply #2. Sep 12 14, 9:19 AM |

That's a true shame. RIP. I remember him for his part in Happy Gilmore, he always cracked me up in that. Reply #3. Sep 12 14, 10:04 AM |

I remember Voltaire well. Michael Dunn, another fine actor, and he attempted many times to end James West's life to no avail. Richard also played another part on the Wild Wild West. He was Dimas. Oh, the memories. Reply #4. Sep 12 14, 10:59 AM |

I listened to an interview with him on a radio show just last week. He didn't sound well at all but it may have been because of his broken leg. He did say he had more movies he was working on. He was a wonderful, gentle man. Reply #5. Sep 12 14, 11:26 AM |

I haven't seen anything about the cause of death. Could he have developed an embolism due to his broken leg? I once knew an actress who had worked with Michael Dunn, who played Dr. Loveless. She said that he, too, was just a wonderful and very kind person in real life. Dave Reply #6. Sep 12 14, 11:36 AM |

I just looked up Richard Kiel's cause of death and it said he died of lung cancer which would explain him not sounding well when interviewed on radio last week. Reply #7. Sep 13 14, 2:14 PM |
