Aaah, good to be back from the Evil Twin's Dungeon. He's been pretty sneaky indeed with his puzzles, but it looks like the community defused the bombs in time to prevent FunTrivia from being covered in ugly orange goo for the next year. Phew!

Unfortunately, communication is quite limited during an unvoluntary stay in a torture dungeon, so I could not get you the instructions for defusing those bombs, but here they are:

Red: The image showed the central area of the front page with the graffiti occupying the position of the Fill Me In game. The requirement was to score 555 points - the number of the beast (# and the inverted pentagram) minus 111.

Orange: This one seemed to cause the most problems. The General category page was easily recognized. The calendar with the Friday and the black cat was a sign for the number 13 - Friday the 13th as superstition day. With the added "x3", the requirement becomes to play any 3 quizzes in General with a score of exactly 13 questions correctly. So, players had to take 15 or 20 question quizzes.

Yellow: It took some of you a bit to recognize the Daily Challenges page. The three tick marks stood for any three completions - the position of those completions was irrelevant, so if you bought challenges, you didn't need to be perfect.

Green: Finding the correct page for this one was a bit tricky, but the white box normally containing the team links was the identifying clue for Team Heroes. The arrows and X in that box were there as an additional clue to differentiate it from TvT (which looks very similar) - note the position of the game links in your team box. The requirement was to be greater or equal in score than 1031 - the numerical translation of the Pumpkin Day depicted.

Aqua: This was probably the easiest of the bunch and hopefully helped some of you to understand the nature of the visual clues. The page was the My quiz setup page with Intermediate difficulty and six particular categories - Animals/Cats and Invertebrates, Humanities/Mythology&Legends, Literature/Mystery&Detective and Stephen King, Movies/Horror Mixture. Nothing else was allowed to be set. It was nice if you actually played these settings as well, but as long as you saved and kept them, the pumpkin was defused.

Blue: The final clue was a multi-step one which I thought would cause more problems than it actually did. You first needed to recognize the quiz search and do the search for Halloween. This gave several categories of which the third (pointed to in image) was World/Seasonal/Halloween. Going there, you would have recognized the image insert as being the Topic Mash. Playing that (any score) was good enough to defuse - once your team had figured things out, you could go there directly and play, no need to run the search yourself.

There you have them - six bombs defused.

We'll see what (seven?) fiendish tasks the 2015 evil twin will come up with - I'd probably better book a holiday to some remote island that week in order not to enjoy another stay in a dark dungeon...
