Society has just lost one of the best, most entertaining and imaginative prolific authors around, IMO..........RIP Terry Pratchett, and thank you for "Discworld". "Death" riding "Binky" came for him.

Very sad. I'm not sure how bad his Alzheimer's had become, but it's perhaps a blessing that he didn't spend years without his full mental capabilities.

Such a wonderfully humorous writer. It's almost a blessing he didn't have the many-years-decline so meny people with Alzheimers seem to have.

The BBC article I read said 'early onset Alzheimers,' which hits young and degenerates much quicker.
I will miss his wit and charm. RIP Wizard of Words.
