It's with great sadness and regret I have to let you all know that our special,wonderful friend and leader,Christinap died on the 31st of October..
I know she had many friend on FT who will miss her.
Heartfelt sympathies to her family and friends at this time..

When we learned that Chris wouldn't be able to return to FT, I was given her details so I could send her a note. I looked at the address in disbelief as the name of her village rang loud bells in my brain; I checked in Googlemaps, as you do, and the bells, the bells... were right. Chris lived about a mile from where my father's elder sister used to live, where her daughter used to live, and where her granddaughter still lives. Turn left, turn right, go to end of lane and... Christinap was/is the Rock of Pi. We all join Fun Trivia for different reasons. I joined to try to keep my feeble brain sharp. Somewhere along the way, we develop relationships, long distance, though, but none the less relationships. She was the leader of the team known as Pi in the Sky, I was a member of that team for a couple of years. Chris, to me, was the perfect Fun Trivia Team Leader. She was the leader of the team, every team member knew that and respected that. She congratulated us on our successes and commiserated with us when we did not succeed. Player names become familiar here, especially those of good quiz writers and team leaders. It's good that there was communication among team members and other FT players so that we can know of her passing and of the appreciation her team had of her.
