What do your knights stand for? What are their goals? What are their obligations? Reply #1. Nov 16 15, 2:50 AM |

Their job is to protect the dragons that live in their country. Reply #2. Nov 16 15, 5:06 AM |

Here's the pledge I originally had but I'm not sure if I can use it because it's featured in a movie: "A knight is sworn to valour! His heart knows only virtue! His blade defends the helpless! His might upholds the weak! His word speaks only truth! His wrath undoes the wicked!" Reply #3. Nov 16 15, 5:43 AM |

No, you cannot use a "knight's pledge" that is from a movie. That's called plagiarism and copyright violation. It's also illegal. If you like the ideas presented in that pledge, reword them. Look for synonyms of the key words. Combine them, rearrange them. But do not use something from a movie. Reply #4. Nov 16 15, 6:43 AM |

Used a sentence rewording generator and here's what it gave me: "A knight is vowed to valour! His heart knows just ethicalness! His blade protects the powerless! His strength maintains the feeble! His assertion talks just truth! His rage fixes the mischievous!" How does that sound? Reply #5. Nov 16 15, 10:14 PM |

Like the poor fellow will have a lot to carry about. "For the weak, I will their strength, For the meek, I shall be their voice, For the humble, I vow to honor them For myself, I promise to remember I am the holder of the pledge." For this, I am honored. Reply #6. Nov 16 15, 10:38 PM |

The rewording generator reads like a English to Italian to Urdu to German to Chinese to Spanish to Japanese back to English. It's clunky, repetitive, and doesn't make much sense. Try using your *own* words. Use the other peldge as inspiration but write it in your own words using your own style of writing. Reply #8. Nov 16 15, 11:00 PM |

Imagine yourself in the position of your knight. You stand for what? Go from there. You can do it! Of that, there is NO doubt! Reply #9. Nov 16 15, 11:14 PM |

Just come up with this shorter pledge: "I pledge myself to Masna, its rulers and its people. I turn my back on the black-hearted and cruel and promise forevermore to defend the mighty dragon." How does that sound? Reply #10. Nov 17 15, 1:16 AM |

That sounds better, and hopefully that was all you. It sounds like it represents your knights well since they've sworn to defend dragons. Reply #11. Dec 19 15, 10:05 AM |
